“I was looking for a pair of Tory Burch shoes that were...”

Morgan C.
4/16/12

I was looking for a pair of Tory Burch shoes that were decently priced. I came across this website hopeful because I did not find any reviews on it and it seemed legitimate. The actual Tory Burch website did not include this website as a counterfeit. I proceeded to order a pair of sandals for about $ 80.00 which was about 70% off with no shipping charge. I waited around to receive them for about 2 weeks. I did not know until I got the tracking number that they were coming from China. No where on the site did it say they were in China. I read recently that if you have a nice product coming from China to beware. The emails came in very broken English. The only contact information they have on the website is an email address. I finally received them today (4/16/12) after ordering them on 3/31/12, which is over 2 weeks and they said it would take 7-10 business days, like most sites. As for the actual product, I will break it down into sections, as to how the product came across to me as I opened it: Receiving from the UPS: Sketchy packaging. Covered in gray plastic. From EMS (tracking site)? Never heard of it. Paper work said from China Post Group and had a lot of Chinese symbols that I obviously could not read. They were from a person named Han Xiao Yan in Beijing, China. Address- 22 Chao Yang Bei Road Postal Code 100038. No phone number again. The packaging set me off immediately. The box: It was obviously beat up, as it was only wrapped in plastic. Looked somewhat legit. Sticker on the side is obviously not real. There are typos and the size is printed in Chinese system... size 39. Open box: Looked legitimate. Packaged nicely inside. Noticed first hand the shoes were not the color I ordered. Does not smell like leather, smells like factory. Shoes: Not the right color. Emblem on top is not shaped properly. I compared them to my moms legitimate pair of Tory Burch sandals from Nordstrom. Hers look very nice and all of the packaging and pricing is legitimate and Nordstrom is obviously an authorized retailer. The boxes look nothing alike. The sticker is nothing alike. Tory Burch is an American designer and the size is printed in Chinese scales... size 39. Suggested retail is not printed. There are typos. The packaging is not satisfactory at all. The shoes are very close, but not exact, as i compared the exact shoes on the actual Tory Burch website. They smell like factory. Sorry if I jumped around, I tried to get all of points in there. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE, I called Tory Burch in New York and they said the website is definitely not an affiliate and to contact their law enforcement. This is illegal and they should be sewed and shut down.
