“Service not good, don't stand behind their product.”

I bought a nice 9ft tree in 2014. Paid $900 for it. First and second years everything worked fine. The next year lights started burning out. I realize it's normal for some lights to burn out but there were a lot. At the end of the 2016 season, I ordered a pack of 50 bulbs from them and replaced 50 burnt out bulbs and at the start of the 2017 season I ordered another 50 bulbs and replaced all of them. Long sections of a strand (20 or 30 lights) would be burnt out. Also ordered another 50 bulbs after 2017 season and used all of them. Called several times and could get no reason why these bulbs kept burning out. This season(2018) I got tired of spending $6 for 50 bulbs so I bought 3 strands of 100 lights each (cheaper for a whole strand than buying their bulbs) and used those bulbs to replace burnt out bulbs. Overall, I've replaced approximately 450 bulbs. So this year I called them to see where they recommended buying new strands of light and they gave me a website. Also when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the tree the rep quickly ended the call. Not happy.

I placed an order online, after and hour and half I called the customer service telling them to cancel my order. They said they can't cancel it. Because I only have a window period of 30 minutes to cancel it. For they dispatched the order immediately so they can ship it. I checked a day after I ordered the tree, they have not shipped it. Yet I cannot cancel my order because its against their policy. They said I can return it but they will charged me for shipping cost both ways. This is like a scam. They should immediately warn the customers that they have only a window period of 30 minutes if in case customers changed their minds. If there is a zero star rating I will do it.

Ordered 7 1/2 ft tree and received only the bottom section. Called "customer service" to inquire about the missing portion of the shipment and was told that they did not have anymore top sections of this tree in stock! How can i receive the bottom section and then be told they are out of the top section? Nicole (2nd level) of "customer service" was no help at all. Only continued to spout on about how the only option was to send it back. One week before Christmas i am going to just send it back? I needed another option so asked to speak to her manager. Was told this was a far up the line as i could go. This is not acceptable to me. Nicole's apparent job is to drive customers away and she is doing well in this regard! Now it seems to have become my job to repack the tree for return. HA! Hey Nicole? Wait till you see how good a job I do without some form of remuneration. Nicole, I will continue to hear your monotone voice drone on every time i look at the tree i will now purchase from your competition!

Tip for consumers:

Ordered a tree online, no problem. Received a telephone call 3 days later informing me that the tree that was ordered is out of stock and would not be restocked until the next season. Mind you - it was IN STOCK online (and there were others OUT OF STOCK).

While calling, I checked and it was STILL LISTED IN STOCK ONLINE! Customer service, "They must just be behind in updating"... updating an online/electronic stocking database? That should be automatic without any human intervention!

Rep: "Would you like to choose another or refund your money?"
Me: "Well, it's YOUR error... are you going to give me the same price on a comparable or better tree and pay for 2 day shipping, at least?"
Rep: "No, we can't do that. You'll just have to order another and choose free ground or pay for the other options."

Deceptive Online Photos from treeclassics.com tree review

My wife and I decided to go all out and buy a really nice Christmas tree. We were anxiously waiting for our $400 Christmas tree, because the pictures on their website make all their trees look full and realistic.
When it arrived at our house we immediately set it up so we could see our new tree that we were going to be so proud of. A tree that we would keep for years to come and our kids would love to decorate.
As we were setting it up, I kept thinking "something is not right"
When we were done it looked almost exactly like a tree we saw at Walmart for $150.
I immediately sent an email to their "support" department explaining that this is the wrong tree. After looking at the instructions, and seeing the model #, I realized it was the right tree.

The next day we received a response explaining that we had to pay for shipping back and a 10% restocking fee. No explanation, no phone call to see what was wrong. What a joke. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. I am sure some of you are saying "you should have read the return policy" and you're right. I am spoiled from shopping at Amazon. I should have known better.

Do yourself a favor and get real reviews because the reviews on their website have to be FAKE. There should be a law against this.
