“Ripped off our deposit due to Covid cancellation”

Despite their advertised Covid cancellation policy they would not refund or provide a credit for our deposit after contracting Covid 8 days prior to overseas travel. This is despite providing notice within the required time frame and despite their web site advertising. Not recommended

Any communication with Tripaneer's employees was unprofessional. Without checking with me, they changed titles of retreats so one ended up with two grammatical errors in the headline. Repeatedly they addressed me with the company name and once they ignored my request to remove a retreat from their website.

I would advise anybody do not book with this company. They break their contract and refuse to return deposits.

They are breaking the law as you cannot change the terms of a contract retrospectively.

Company is set up to collect your deposit. Don't bother they're a waste of time and not worth the hassle. I was approved a refund of my deposit by the event organiser, the company straight up refused despite me sending proof.

We booked a spa retreat to Budva Montenegro through Tripaneer. When we arrived the spa advertised did not exist. Instead we were taken to a run down 2*star hotel with 0 amenities. We contacted Tripaneer immediately for assistance but the only response we got back was sorry, we are discussing what to do, it is the weekend we will get back to you. Four days later they contact us to say we can book another trip through them. As if I would ever trust this company again! If they are not crooks they are bad business people as the do not check out their suppliers and have poor customer service. If they are crooks they post spa retreats that don't exist with fake reviews and don't return your money. Be warned...do not use this company!

I had booked a meditation retreat through Tripaneer Bookmeditationretreats. The event was cancelled because of corona virus. The person holding the retreat agreed to refund the 465 deposit but the company owned by Robert Den Hollander refuses to refund the money. They stated that they would only provide a credit. That means now I will have to pay out more for airfare (I chose this event because it was being held at a time that I already had the time off and in the country I live in). When I requested the refund, the customer service person was snarky and unhelpful and I have not heard back from them. It would be one thing if I had cancelled but they cancelled and now are keeping my money. This company is making money off of people due to the pandemic. Don't book with them! They are the worst.

I understand that the cancellation is non-refundable for the package that I bought, however, I had a negative experience since it was canceled due to Covid-19, pandemic is out of my control so I shouldn't pay for something that was not delivered. After a long exchange with Tripaneer they only gave me credits to book the same retreat in the future. Forcing me to make a trip that I don't feel comfortable doing so I don't lose my money. That's why I decided to ask for my credit card help. They treated me saying if I opened a dispute I'd loose my credit. Just the worst company ever. No costumer service, no phone number. Please don't make the same mistake I made.
