True Dental Discounts

Guy didn't know how to suck out water. Gagged the whole time. And the dentist yelled at me!? Hygienist used high pressure water on a quarter of my mouth stopped and did something. Could've brushed my teeth better. Dentist didn't come in to review my teeth. No thanks. Needless to say I won't be back. Doug McClelland

I wish I could give no stars...so I was in the Market at the time for dental insurance and got a call from this company that sounded like they were offering excellent opportunity for coverage I didn't understand nor were they specifically clear on the fact that it wasn't an insurance it was a savings program and got me to pay in full upwards of $200 letting me know that my dependents could use it right then and there I should have known that was too good to be true. I recently have been diagnosed with cancer and knew that I was going to be needing some dental care after my chemo so when I had gone to my dentist they laughed and told me that this is not Insurance it is a Savings Program my next move I immediately called to cancel they said I'd get a full refund within 30 days long story short about 6 months later I decided to check and see if I was canceled I called the number on the back of the card after stumbling across the card in my wallet and find out I'm active the worst part about it is the guy Nick was so rude and ignorant I also work as an insurance agent and I would never speak to my clients the way that he spoke to me he was condescending and short and unclear the first phone call he told me my policy would be canceled he was sarcastic when I tried to explain how many times I've actually called to have it canceled he was ignorant because I didn't have a reference number that's not my fault I asked him do you guys record these calls and I asked to speak with the manager which he then declined giving me the same run around the last guy did and instead of him doing what he could to help me he was ignorant and rude telling me I don't understand speaking to me like I was an idiot I recommend never doing business with this company I am appalled by Nick's Behavior when I called back a second time to confirm that it was canceled and to ask since I paid in full would my policy be canceled today or in December he then again got ignorant with me telling me let me re-explain and reiterate myself I canceled your policy the first 30 seconds we spoke I was so taken back when all I wanted to know was since I paid in full 4 year and he couldn't decisively tell me I would get my refund all I wanted to know was in case they decided not to give me my refund cuz their policy is it has to be canceled within 30 days to get your refund which most likely they won't give me mine I wanted to make sure that I would be able to use it since I did spend $200 on it and instead he met me with ignorance and cunning attitude. NICK IS Unprofessional! I even explained to him my situation with my health and he showed no compassion shame on him!

While the discounts this company gives through legitimate dentist contracts are effective and will save you money, especially if your dental coverage doesn't cover dentures or partials, they keep charging you the annual premium.

When I signed up for discounts online with Truedentaldiscounts.com through Careington dental discounts in 2013 and picked a listed dentist, I did get about $1,000 of discounts in the following year. However, the site didn't make it plain that I was signing up for an automatic CC charge each anniversary year. I got charged automatically about $40 more the second year on my credit card, but I was still using the service in 2014. When I was automatically charged again in 2015, I called them and they said they sent me an email or a letter giving me the opportunity to stop the $155.00 charge. They would cooperate in a refund, so I called the CC company to dispute the charge in 2015 and again in 2016. Discover Card gave me credit for both annual charges, b/c TrueDentalDiscounts did not reply to them in the two week time period given. Then in June 2017, I received the first letter ever from them, saying they were going to do an automatic charge on July 18,2017. On June 23,2017 I made notes that I called the phone number in the letter and was told they would cancel my payment. However, in 8/2017 when I got my Discover Card bill, they had charged me $155.00 again. I also found out the charges of $155.00 in 7/1015 & 7/2016 were actually under "AmericanTrueDentalCare", a different company name. So I filed another dispute with discover card and was also told that they would block any charges from $0 to $1,000 from either of these company names.
I can't complain about the discounts being good. But don't sign up with this company who fraudulently keep charging you annual premiums, even when you ask them to stop!

I purchased a dental plan through True Dental many years ago and it has saved me THOUSANDS! Cant recommend enough
