I ordered two different walking sticks from this site and I am impressed. I placed the order around midnight Tuesday morning had engraving on one. They both arrived this afternoon! Products are as described on the site and the quality is incredible. I'm disabled and the canes are sturdy enough for me to use for certain things. I'm grateful to the entire team at True Swords!

I bought a sword cane on April 8th 2023. It came and I got it engraved. That was the first problem that I came across. It was just like burned or drawn in the blade. It wasn't actually engraved. The cane part at the base looked scuffed like it was used. Anyway, so I thought the handle on it wasn't good enough for what I needed. I wanted to return it for an exchange for a more expensive one. I contacted customer service and they told me as long as it isn't damaged or anything I could. So apon returning it they just got it and sent it back to me. At the same time I'm talking to customer service and following what they told me. Now come to find out. You can't return burned on lettering cane swords. After I spent the money to ship it back myself. That's another thing. You have to pay for it to be shipped back. So now I'm out the shipping and the proper exchange that I was told I could get from their own email customer service representative. So if you want to buy something from them. Make sure you know what your doing. Otherwise they will have you running all over and you will just be in the same place with less money than to start with. Besides the aggravation and stress that you will have to go through. Good luck ordering from here. Just make sure it's what you want to begin with. I

From buying a new grinded down to a barely staying in the saya from getting damaged merchandise from there for Christmas it feels like they are not living up with their customer service. I even bought a mystery bag of four swords which gave mostly stainless steel katanas that where practically the same. Only decent thing I got was a carbon cavalry sword which was unsharpened. Feels like this site are almost the same as Budk, Kennesawcuttlry, Swordsswords, and CLKabel. Performing terrible business practice to monopolize while screwing over customers. Not saying you shouldn't buy, unless you want good quality and service I suggest buying from Wildbillwholesales instead.

Ordered a lot of pieces all at once, for a very heavy price. Had three pieces "engraved". 1st of all, I am not sure that what they do is actually "engraving". It appears to be some sort of printing process that does not actually cut the motto into the blade. It is smooth to the touch and won't catch a finger nail. Secondly, they got the motto on one blade (thankfully the cheapest) comically wrong. What was supposed to be "Ad Astra Per Aspera" (meaning "thru adversity to the stars"), they marked the blade with "Ad Aspera Per Aspera" (which I guess means "thru adversity to adversity"). Now I don't expect these guys to speak or read latin, but you would think at least one of them would be familiar with the Starfleet motto from "Star Trek", from whose web page I cut and pasted what I put on the order. Unfortunately, although the engraving charges appear on the emailed order confirmation, the actual engraving instructions do not, so I cannot prove where the mistake was made. The guy I spoke to on the phone initially claimed I ordered "Ad Astera Per Aspera", then maybe picked up on what I was complaining about after many repeats and spellings. After a too brief hold while he supposedly spoke with a manager, he came back and claimed they would do nothing. I don't understand their logic. A repeat customer who orders hundreds of dollars of stuff at intervals complains they messed up a $40 novelty umbrella sword engraving (total less than 10% of the last order). Rather than make any offer to make it right, they blame the customer and resort to the old "my manager says No" excuse. Not smart. Not good customer service. Not 'True'. Also not ever going to get another order from me, and I will make a point of making sure everybody who ever sees any of my collection that they should not do business with "True Swords".

Tip for consumers:
They called to verify the validity of my order because of the dollar amount, but did not bother to confirm the engraving before screwing it up and then blaming me. Not even the offer of a discount on a corrected replacement. Obviously they do not value repeat customers.

Products used:
I require a cane to walk any distance over hard surfaces. I prefer sword canes, which I periodically leave at restaurants and then never get back. This time I thought it novel to buy an Umbrella Sword

Awesome! Awesome! My son is a die-hard friend of Assassin's Creed series and was itching to get the sword just like that of Connor, the protagonist. Got it from Top Swords, yippee!
The Assassin's Creed Altair Majestic Sword that I received from Top Swords was in perfect condition and had blade and grip just the way they displayed on the website. Excellent work, thanks.

I purchased a knife from this company and requested to have initials engraved on it. I received a knife without the engraving, although I was charged for it. Since the knife was a birthday gift and an exchange would probably not arrive in time, I had the engraving done locally. When I contacted the company to ask for a refund they said they could not refund the cost of the engraving without proof that the blade arrived without it. I offered to send them a copy of my receipt from the engraving company and I was told that was not sufficient proof. So apparently they believe I either paid to have the blade engraved with the same initials that were already on it, or I went to tremendous trouble to forge a receipt in order to cheat them out of five whole dollars. Either way, it is ridiculous. Beware.

I was skeptical when i first considerd buying from the site, but then some of my friends bought the object i was going to buy them[a pack of kunai knives] they showed them to me and let me throw them, then i was certain i was going to buy them, they were amazing! I still have them, although some of them has had their tipp boken off[from me failing at hitting the target and them going haywire] i eventually bought a sword from them that was also amazing but extremely sharp, over all pretty cool

Similar to my issue with budk.com in fact i purchased items a few days apart. So i placed the order but i receive nothing. Reached out to customer service to check on the item and i also check on the delivery company. As i do this i noticed that the order on the shipping company has the wrong address. So surely trueswords will take ownership of their mistake since my address was correct when i placed the order right? Well i am here writing a review. Their customer support is the same as budk fml. They were kind enough to put both requests into one. I asked for them to send me another. Nope (the shipping company stated that the item was returned to sender) may i have a refund? Nope you have to wait until we get the item back.
To sum
Their mistake
No resend of the item
No refund until they get their item back
I had to reach out to BBB in order for them to refund my money. I never received an apology or even a hint or concern for what happened.
I have purchased items from both budk and true swords without any issues. But the moment you have a problem you are on your own. Do not expect any signs or assistance or concern for your cash. The moment you finalize the order you money is gone whether you get your items or not.

I love this website.

They always Deliver with USPS and i am always happy with my order.

Recently i order my fathers Christmas Gift and All i can say is holy S*** it was amazing...

I mean words can not express my love for this site:)

If you are a little worried about ordering DO NOT BE it is not a waste!

And coming from that says alot.

But if you want why do ya order something thats like 10.00 and i bet you guys would love it from the start.

The customer service is amazing and always pleasant.

I just have to say GREAT JOB TrueSwords.

They are not very specific. Make sure you know what your doing. Don't just buy anything and think you eligible for a full refund. Even if whatever you ordered isn't broken or damaged. I know I'll be ordering what I actually want from another site.
