I received 2 emails this morning that the troll who was causing so much harassment and trouble on the Minster's Network will not be posting anymore. The one with the foul name of "MF'er" spelled out, was removed. Finally after 2 months of complaining, ULC has taken action. No minister should have to go on for 2 months of notifying an organization about trolls on a private network. For now, it is resolved.

Be warned if you are sincere about being a secular minister

First off, I was ordained 3 years ago through the ulc.org website which is the "ULC Monastery" with an address in Seattle, WA. They maintain a decent website and have a "Minister's Blog" which is open to the public and a so called "private Minister's Network" for ordained ministers to communicate with each other. There is no leadership, no one to actually speak to who is in charge other than someone to process supply orders/issues. Over the past 3 months a so called minster using a fake name, has spent each day trolling, harassing, name calling other minsters, uses foul language, posted 3 racist memes and denigrated Native Americans who are Democrats of which I am a Native American who is a registered Democrat. The Minister's Network is a place of inspiration with us posting spiritual quotes and jpegs and religious quotes as well. It is not a place for political rants. It has turned into a cesspool. Notifying the *******@ulc.org has been useless as minsters are advised to just block or mute the troll. What? ULC allows foul language, harassment, trolling, racism, etc. and we should just put up with it? The Minster's blog is almost as bad, but people are at least mostly civil. Political issues become excuses for poor behavior, name calling as well. To be told to "calm down" by *******@ulc.org because of the holiday is outrageous as I have forwarded the troll's posts since beginning of October 2020 and they have not taken any action. So here is what I now believe. The ULC.org, The Monastery, is complicit, has no leadership, no way to contact the supposed minister in charge. Only people at a remote center to process orders. I am not the only minister who is disappointed about their inaction. Any techie should maintain a website to immediately remove trolls. I have contacted the original ULC-the Universal Life Church Seminary in Modesto, CA. Much more relevant with actual people at a church in Modesto CA as well as online classes. I have spoken to the office manager, who is receptive and knows about the problems of ULC.org and problems of nasty trolls. ULC Seminary in Modesto, CA is the organization and real church to be aligned with, not just some online platform to collect people's money and send them minster paraphernalia. I am sorry, but I believe for me to be silent would be complicit. Be forewarned. Every word is truth.
