“Most People come to complain- not this time.”

Gary K.
3/2/23

Most people complain with good reason in most cases. I think it's really good that I can report a company that has knowledgeable customer service reps who try to work with you in resolving issues. The prices are some of the best, their options and packages are some of the best. 24/7 customer service, almost always immediate response. For example, companies have base fees that are the same for all plans, plus taxes and federally mandated fees. So no matter how little, or how large your plan is, they have fees they have to charge. A mail order company cannot sell you a 39 cent item then spend $4 to mail it to you. It's going to cost at least $4.39. I have a multiline plan with them that shares unlimited talk, text and shared data. It's $30 for two lines with 6gb data fees included. My third (backup) phone has a $5 plan PLUS fees, the total is $8.57 2500 minutes, 2500 texts and 500mb data. Absolutely easy to set up (I came from the worst -Tracfone) no surprises, all was disclosed as to cost ahead of time, on all plans all you need to do is read. In fact, several plans say 'all fees and taxes included'. You can choose to go with Verizon towers or with TMobile/ ATT. Up to you, they send sims for both, you choose which you want to use. I've never found a better company for cell service and I started with Alltel and a Motorola bag phone in 1992. OH--- AND 5G!

“Very deceptive pricing”

I just got a new mobile phone so I could forever change from tracfone, which is the worst mobile phone 'service' ever, but keep the tracfone minutes on my old phone that barely works with tracfone until the end service date. I got a sim card from us mobile because I almost never use a phone but I need some data and to have the phone for emergencies, and you can pick and choose what you want. I was told by vonage that I could use my vonage phone app with this phone. I've been all afternoon trying to get the basics sorted, one of which was supposed to take 2 minutes. That's a laugh. Anyway, I got to the point of building the plan with us mobile. I clicked on the smallest amount of data, 100mb, which said $2, and at the bottom it said taxes and fees on that would be $2.98, so it would actually cost $4.98 for 100mb of data. I know mobile phone companies charge taxes and fees, but this company doesn't tell you that they're going to charge you more than the item costs in taxes and fees. How can that even be right or legal? By the time you're done you might as well go to a company with a high monthly bill because that's what this could be anyway, depending on what you want, and maybe the other company will roll the mins, data, or whatever over to the next month. This one won't. It's deceptive to make the customer think they're going to have a low mobile phone bill, not tell them what the taxes and fees will be, and then when they're activating the phone give them a nasty surprise. I'm in limbo with activating rhe phone now because I'm deciding what to do.
