This bunch of fraudsters also are the same as Shift online. Jacob Corlett, who says he comes from Plymouth, UK, and Mark Alan Pearson are directors who are either completely incompetent or just plain thieves. They get your card details and then add on additional charges you have not agreed to. They need to be stopped. They use different telephone numbers and different addresses. Report them.

This bunch of fraudsters also are the same as Shift online. Jacob Corlett, who says he comes from Plymouth, UK, and Mark Alan Pearson are directors who are either completely incompetent or just plain thieves. They get your card details and then add on additional charges you have not agreed to. They need to be stopped. They use different telephone numbers and different addresses. Report them.

Tip for consumers:
AVOID at all costs. Report them to the Police and Trading standards.

They took our card details and never showed up, something we didn't find out until they were late and when we finally managed to contact them they said they didn't have any vans left! As a result we were also so much more stressed moving out as we had no accommodation secured to have time to sort another van out in a time when everyone was booking vans! Absolute scammers, stay away from these losers who must get a life!

I am sending Van Plus a copy of this negative review in order and in the hope they might improve, but from their attitude I dont think this is likely. I had to lodge a complaint with the Management of Van Plus about their poor service which was misleading and dishonest. I was quoted a fixed price by Christoph, and telephoned Van Plus twice to confirm my booking a few hours later on the same day, was told that they were open until late. No one at Van Plus got back to me. I contacted the company the following morning, again twice, no one returned my call. I eventually spoke to someone who made several excuses and informed me that my details on their system about my quote was lost. This didnt make sense as Van Plus initially contacted me from the information I provided them through the internet, and Van Plus assured me that my details were stored on their computer. I was then not impressed at the price being £19 more expensive. The person I spoke to, after speaking to their manager, said that my price was promotional (they never told me before that this was promotional) but less than 24 hours later, regardless of them not answering my telephone call, they would not honour their quote and price and now wanted to charge me much more. I've wasted nearly two hours with this company and more time writing this review. Van Plus have not kept to their promise and I cannot recommend Van Plus to anyone. It is a pity that I did not read the other reviews about Van Plus and their shoddy customer service. Christopher

Billing system - Wants to bill me for more than ******* hours for a job that took less than 2
Complaint handling - Do you want to be Insulted for asking for written confirmation that you will not be billed for thousands of hours.
Management - Hopeless

PLEASE DONT USE VAN PLUS or SHIFT!

I WOULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARS.

We HAD our van cancelled at the last moment. They told us it will come the next day. However, no van came nor did the customer respond to our calls or emails.

This is a SCAM. DONT USE THEM!

Do not use their services. Here are the reasons:

- Paid for a driver and a loader. Only driver came saying his friend didn't make it?! Sic. I ended up moving all the boxes at the pick up point on my own. Obviously it took more time than with potential help I ordered.

- I moved the boxes finally to the drop off point. Instead of apology, I was then charged 120 quid extra because I spent more time than planned. It would take less if I were not alone and if you had provided the service I paid for!

- Complaint system is a joke. Only available via Internet platform - 150 letters used to describe the issue (twitter size). Dispute team allows their drivers to lie in every possible way, as you "don't have a proof" confirming your version. I will seek legal advice as they are scammers

Worst and most unpleasant situation ever happened to me - avoid at any cost!

I booked a collection of 1 item for a Sunday morning. Saturday morning I got a text from a mobile number to say they were struggling with driver availability and would the afternoon be ok. I replied to the text to say probably, but would need a time estimate to give the pickup location. No reply. Tried to call the mobile - deadline - no incoming calls I assume. Looked on website - no phone number. Tried online chat to reply. I assumed this then to be a small company only manned mon-fri 9-5, if that. Finally found a number to call to book a new service and the recorded message said to leave a voicemail. Instead of directing me to a voicemail I was placed in a queuing system, which eventually automatically said goodbye!. Checked online system, which said pickup booked for 4pm. Finally got a call 10 mins before delayed pick up at 10 to 4pm to say it would be more like 5. At 10 to 5 no pickup and just received email to say my money has been refunded!
Company gets some good reviews, but clearly when things go wrong their customer service doesn't exist. Totally in professional, lazy and incompetent organisation. The customer should be kept informed - t'aint rocket science folks!

After replying to the email about the refund I got a response that said 'yeah sorry we can't do it and we've sent a refund'. They couldn't even call to explain that.

I wouldn't personally ever use this service again and would warn anyone else to think twice. Bit like Russian roulette.

I booked van-plus to move house in the Borders area giving them over two weeks notice. All packed up and waiting for the van I received a text "after" the arrival time that the van was not coming. I tried to contact their customer service which gives you ten minutes of awful music and messages of how important you are then cuts you off or alternatively you can find that the message box is FULL. Finally I got them to contact me and the promise of a van next day sounded good. You have guessed it! The same thing happened again with all of the added stress. Finally I cancelled the arrangement and found a reliable and prompt vanman for the next day. They have now informed me that they did not take payment. What about the stress caused, the delay caused and the hassle of having it all packed up with nowhere to go. Any mention of compensation? Ha ha. Moving is stressful so if you want to multiply it by ten then find out that customer service cannot be reached by phone and your broadband is not available as you are moving use van-plus. If you want repeated failure to turn up use van-plus. If you want a company that obviously does not care about the situation it leaves its customers in use van-plus. That is of course my personal experience but if you are fortunate enough to read this take my advice and do not use van-plus. Without doubt they are the worst company it has ever been my misfortune to use and their customer service is a very sad joke.

I WAS QUOTED A FIXED SUM, AND WAS DOUBLE CHARGED THE FOLLOWING DAY, DO NOTTTTTTTT USE THESE RIP OFF MERCHANTS. DISGRACEFUL ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, DO NOT GIVE THESE COWBOYS YOUR BANK DETAILS, I URGE YOU TO RESEARCH OTHER SOURCES, VANPLUS ARE A RIP OFF

Van plus is literally the worst ever! I would give it no stars if I could. The driver literally cancelled on me last minute and when I mean last minute I mean really last minute (he cancelled when he was already supposed to arrive) and the driver didn't even bother letting us know that it was cancelled. He only texted us back after I kept calling him trying to figure out where he was because he was already supposed to reach my house (the call failed all the times I called) and he texted us with what one would deem vulgar or inappropriate words. And when I tried calling van plus (the only number I had of van plus at that time) regarding the whereabouts of the driver all they told me was they were only in charge of booking and so that they do not know where the driver is at all or if the driver is going to even come at all. Basically being of no help at all. They also transferred my call to the customer support team which never got through. I have absolutely no idea as to what customer team it is when there is literally no one who will pick up your call or reply you on the live chat. I had to call for another van last minute. The worst part is I suddenly got a sms from vanplus saying that my booking got moved to the next day! And this happened without any consultation from me at all or me requesting that I wanted that move! And I tried calling the customer team again wanting to cancel my booking but of course no one picked up my call and my call failed. AND FYI they had already charged me for this last minute cancelled booking. DO NOT BOOK FROM THIS COMPANY EVER

THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK CARD DETAILS ETC. I called on 24 July 2017 (today) and booked a van rental service. As soon as the call began I asked if it was being recorded. They replied yes. I made the booking and then they said they needed my card details for pre-authorization to hold the van rental. I asked if the funds would come out and they said no. I said if I call and cancel will I be charged. They replied no. I then found a much cheaper and better rental van option. I called to cancel and they gave me the run around. They said I had to use the chat option to cancel. No one could talk to me on the phone about cancelling. I then looked at my bank account and they took the money out. I called back repeatedly and each time I got the run around and excuses. I then went to the online chat center while I was on the phone with my bank. I repeatedly asked for their name and approval code. My bank needed that information to cancel their unauthorized withdrawal. They ignored my request and gave me yet another online link to submit a dispute. Wait. I was told I could do that on the online chat option I clicked on. Hmmmmmm... So of course I clicked on that link. Yet more run around questions and bogus links. I then called back. I was hung up on a total of 4 times today. I was also told twice someone from the support department would call. No one ever called and every time I call I get the run around. No one will give me a straight answer. I have made the authorities aware and 2 other companies are going to investigate them much to my relief. Another thing to pay attention to: their company is listed as Van Plus. When they took the unauthorized charges out of my bank account their name was listed as "Computer Program Integrated Systems and Data Sevice". Which my bank immediately red flagged, thank goodness. This company will not get away with this and I am currently having them investigated. DO NOT USE THEM AND BECOME A VICTIM LIKE I HAVE! DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE COMPANIES YOU CALL.

To whomever is moving I beg you not to hire that VAN PLUS company. This is a totally SCAM COMPANY from the driver to the company itself. The low prices in their website is just a trap. Once you agree prepare to be ripped off for an extra 332£ from your account no matter service you asked, the lowest or LUTON van that never existed.

I have booked for the maximum service with 2 man and a LUTON VAN, the money was taken immediately from my account 138.89£. I have booked for a Saturday but because they couldn't get a Van on that they they have postponed it for the next day. The driver arrived 2hrs late. On arrival he started arguing with me saying that what I had to move would me for more than 2 hrs. And that I would have to pay him an extra 100£ in cash. I said... Ok why we are waiting time just do it job and I'll talk to the company...

They dropped my washing machine on the floor, the machine is broken and than when they finished moving he wouldn't go out so I would pay 100£ I refused but still gave him 75£. He guarantee me that the company wouldn't charge me any extra.

Next day i actually received a receipt stating just the amount I payed allready 138.89£ with overtime or extra time 0£. So I thought everything was sorted.

I disputed my washing machine with them, VAN PLUS say it's not their responsibility and the driver says his not his aswell as apparently "it fell".

Not of a surprise the following days I start receiving phone calls text messages and writing emails asking for an extra 232£ apparently for a "15min overtime and late payment?"... they returned to take this to debt collectors agency...

I replied... YOU DO ME THAT FAVOR, You are asking me extra 232£ that is not billed over the phone and with an email, there is no official document discriminating and justifying these extra money you are asking for. IS a fact yes that you owe me a new washing machine and that if any other amount is taken from my account I WILL PROSECUTE YOU!

VANNPLUS are not professionals and serious company... stay away from them... luckily I went to the bank to ask them to refuse any recurring payments from them as they have my card details... And the bank confirm me that they have been trying to take money from my account...

Luckily I havent any available as I always transfer it for another account I use for my needs...

YOU PAY AND THEY CLAIM YOU DIDN'T TO RIP YOUR MONEY FROM YOU! KEEP YOUR EYES OPENED AND GO ASAP TO YOUR BANK OR YOUR MONEY WILL BE TAKEN AWAY...

You can remove my review! What I'm saying here is real, my own experience such as bad... I'm still waiting for their invoice from their debt collector to take all the documents to my solicitor and finally Prosecute them! Thank you anyway trustpilot for letting me make this review even though is being blocked by van plus itself!
