“DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH WESTERN DENTAL HAWTHORNE CA.”

I paid a lot of money for a Crown to cover the root canal suggested and performed by DDS Shaw. 1st the root canal was performed I came back for a temp which was installed. The temp came off along with small fragments of my tooth that where stuck to the cement. I was eating dinner and damn near swallowed the temp crown. That happened twice. Finally permanent was ready and installed. The exact thing happened a total of 3 times. Each time DDS Shaw who only works on Mondays shaved my tooth down till there was hardly any tooth left to secure the crown on to. The last permanent crown was installed about 4 months ago. It came off 3 weeks ago. Keep in mind that I've now been in 10 times for this procedure. I walked in Feb 24 and another DDS looked at my tooth and said that it couldn't be saved. It had to be extracted. He went on to say "that in his 15+ years that has only happened 1 time that he knows of and that patient was a METH ADDICT" He then said that they would credit my account for what I paid for the crown and come up with a solution and then charge me the difference. CHARGE ME THE DIFFERENCE? METH HEAD? I left furious and needed to calm myself for the way i was treated. I called the manager Shannon and explained and Shannon was rude and more worried about leaving at 1 p.m. than helping me. I came back the following Monday to speak to DDS Shaw and manager and they said there is nothing they can do to save my tooth and I would be charged to fix DDS Shaw's botched procedure. I tried getting a copy of my file and only x-ray pictures were given and Front desk customer Agent Ashley refused to give me the entire file saying that it's a violation of HIPAA laws which turned out to be an absolute lie according to their Corporate Grievance Dept. DDS Shaw did nothing nor provided any suggestions on how to cover the small hole that she inserted a metal rod to secure crown given the fact she shaved the tooth down to a nub. I filed Grievance 2/25 it's now 3/09 my tooth is exposed, in pain, and sensitive and they have another 30 days to look into the matter. BOTTOM LINE. THEY TREAT YOU WELL WHEN THEY WANT TO UPSELL YOU FOR PRODUCTS YOU DON'T NEED. BUT WHEN THEY BOTCH THE PROCEDURE THERE IS SUDDENLY NO EMPATHY, NO PROFESSIONALISM, AND NO ONE TO HELP FIX THE PROBLEM OTHER THAN FOR THE GRIEVANCE PROCESS WHICH DOESN'T HELP YOUR PAIN. IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE YOU'RE INSIGNIFICANT AND A NUISANCE AND THEN HAVE A DDS CONFIRM WHAT YOU SUSPECTED WHICH WAS A BOTCHED JOB AND THEN IMPLY YOU'RE A METH USER AS THE REASON WHY CROWN KEEPS COMING OFF RATHER THAN DDS SHAW FILING DOWN MY TOOTH TO A NUB, DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH WESTERN DENTAL IN HAWTHORNE CA EVER!
