They lost two of my rings in transit and refuse to provide any documentation or to give me the fair value for my rings. It's been almost six months of an absolute dumpster fire. They won't respond unless you hound them, and they talk down to you when you try and get any information from them. They're supposed to have insurance for jewelry when you send it in to them through FedEx and then separate insurance to protect your jewelry through the whole process, but the way they're reacting it making it sound like they have no insurance at all. It feels a lot like they only have one or two employees and that there's no actual professional working with or for them. I never saw a gemologist report from the ring I first sold with them, even though it was supposed to be provided. And now magically my information from the one ring I sold with them last summer and the information on both of their rings has been "accidentally" deleted from their website.

As a reminder, you can still view the FedEx tracking ending in -0711 on fedex.com to confirm that FedEx initially received your package. Unfortunately in light of there being no additional movement on the tracking, FedEx ultimately concluded your package as a loss after they were unable to locate it.
Although it is extremely rare for a package to go missing while being shipped by FedEx, we have insurance coverage in place for this very reason. Our insurance policy provides coverage reflective of the services we offer. As pre-owned jewelry being sold through a secondary market, jewelry is eligible for coverage up to its current resale value. Documentation such as a detailed purchase receipt or a grading report highlighting your jewelry's unique characteristics greatly help in substantiating the claim and determining an accurate resale value range. It is important to note that you were requested to provide any available documentation however we have only received photos of the two rings you indicated you shipped to this point.
When reviewing your past communication with our team, we can confirm you were advised of the steps we would be taking to investigate the concerns and to assist you further. In light of the severely limited information available for your jewelry, this did influence what steps our team could take. We're sincerely sorry if any past explanations did not thoroughly address all of the questions or concerns you've had. Complete waste of time and then they shipped the ring back to the wrong address, so now I am left trying to track down my ring. Very disappointed in the level of service. Do not waste your time.

They provide a one stop shop for selling, which leads to them taking a hefty cut of the proceeds. I ended up with less than 1/4 of the appraised value and less than 1/2 retail price. But I likely got more than a pawn shop or private sale with less hassle so if you just want to get rid of it and put a chunk of change in your bank account, this is a great option.

Plenty of communication during the phases of sending/receiving my items and during the selling process. Once my items sold, however, all communication from Worthy ceased. They quote a time frame of 3-5 days to receive your payment once the item sells. On day four I called for an update and was told that I would receive payment on the next day, the fifth day. On the fifth day, I called and was told that it was too late in the day (4PM) because "finance closes at 5:30pm" but that I may still receive payment that day but it would certainly be by the next day, the 6th day. On the 6th day, I chose not to wait until the end of the day to call. When I called I was told that I would receive payment in the next 1-2 business days (today is Friday, Monday would be the 9th day). I was told that there was no one to escalate my phone call to when I asked for a manager. I was told there were no guarantees about when I would receive the funds. I have now been told three days in a row that I would receive the funds that day or the next day and now on the third day the story is it will be another one to two more days. I've lost confidence in anything they tell me at this point and am wondering if I'll get my money without taking further steps. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE ENTIRE PROCESS is the part they can't get right. Of course, they've received their payment.

I sent them a ring that has recently been purchased for $6k….I needed the money more than the ring so I gave them a shot. They appraised it and put it up for auction.
They recommended a "reserve price" of $343 and said that I shouldn't make it any higher than that or the ring won't sell. Me being naive, and having no experience with auctions I went with it. The auction lasted several days and the final bid at the end was $443. When I asked for my ring back, they said it was no longer in their possession.
I'm absolutely devastated! If I would have known that ring would've went for a measly $400 I would have just kept it. DO NOT TRUST THEM WOTH YOUR JEWELRY! I wish I'd read the reviews beforehand…now someone has a $6k ring for $400. Thanks Worthy. After their fees I got a little over $300.

Our recommended reserve price was determined by comparing the objective third-party grading report for your diamond and auction performance for jewelry pieces of comparable components and quality. As a reminder, you were given complete control to start your auction at our suggested amount or to set your own reserve price. Prior to starting your auction, you were required to acknowledge your understanding that once an offer meets or exceeds your set reserve price, the sale is final.
Although we were able to help you reach an offer that exceeded the reserve price you set, we are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the outcome of your auction. With that said, we also stand by our completely risk-free process that allows you to decide the minimum amount your jewelry sells for, regardless of the current market demand. All unsold jewelry is returned at no cost, in the same condition originally received.
