Cute little camera, and that's where it stops! Purchased two outdoor cameras for protection. Paid for upgrades. It never worked correctly. Tried to contact the company, but never got a response. One camera took pictures of nothing up to 7 times a minute, causing the battery to run down within days.The other one hardly ever recorded. Most recordings of people are when they're walking past the camera. Totally useless for security. Spend your money on a quality camera. You get what you pay for, unless you buy WYZE.

They have NO way of editing an order once it's placed, even 5 minutes after the fact. And with each order having a $5.99+ shipping fee, it's ridiculous. We live in 2022, how the hell can you not do something so basic? And customer support is $#*!ing useless.

The hardware is of pretty low and flimsy quality and the software lacks a lot too but it's expected given the lower price I guess. The real problem comes from the plus and other forms of subscriptions they duplicate and charge for without cancellation options even when it's clear that the subscriptions are duplicates. Customer service is at best unhelpful and borderline rude.
They also do not allow you to post a sincere review on their site so they can easily continue to manipulate opinions in their favor. Absolutely shameful practice that should be noted.

Inadequate customer service is counter productive as they already knew my dissatisfaction and refused to help then asked me for a sincere review that they proceeded to delete … such dishonest and tone deaf attitude is unacceptable

Own 6 cameras from Wyze. 2 failed. First was was quickly replaced after basic troubleshooting at no charge. Second camera i went through 3 reps in their chat. No phone support available. 2 1/2 hours in chat and had to threaten to contact my credit card company to get a replacement under warranty. They gave me a gift card so i had to pay tax and shipping for an under warranty failure. Customer service is gone at this company. 33% failure rate and NO customer service. Stay AWAY.

Be very careful in dealing with this company. They use Amazon Logistics to deliver, even if you order directly from their website. Amazon misdelivered my package. It says right on the package "Delivered to neighbor." I asked my neighbors and they didn't have it. I called Wyze multiple times and they told me that since it showed "delivered," it wasn't their problem. This is just awful. I spent weeks dealing with Amazon customer service trying to track it down. It took reaching out to Amazon corporate office before anything was done. Do not deal with this awful company!

I've been a supporter of Wyze from it's beginning and recommended their cameras to everyone, however upon installing their home security system and seeing how poorly it works I can no longer recommend them. I've tried to contact customer support but only get automated responses and no direct answers to my complaint which is critical for home security as the system no longer arms after a firmware update. When it says it's armed, you check the application and learn the system is in fact disarmed so you're home is NOT protected.

I've used Wyze cams for about 4 years now. They worked ok for the price. A recent update killed all 3 of my Wyze v3 cameras that were about a year old. After wasting 2 weeks emailing and on the phone with support, they wouldn't acknowledge what hundreds of people are complaining about on the web, that their latest firmware update bricked all the v3 cams, and Wyze isn't doing anything about it. All they would do is offer a $5 coupon off new Wyze cameras. Eventually I got them to refund most of the price but it was a huge waste of time.

I bought a wyze cam v3. It keeps jamming and runs slow. Some times blurry picture. So far it is not worth the money.

Ordered a security system and paid for it through Paypal. I received a confirmation email back then almost immediately after that, received a cancellation email stating that they suspected that my order was fraudulent so they cancelled it. They never tried to contact me to confirm anything, and my PayPal account was not compromised. I then went to their website to try to contact them and it was the worst site ever. There is no contact phone number for them which is absolutely ridiculous. The only way to contact them is to chat which I tried and it was so poorly set up that it couldn't answer the simplest of questions. Then tried the only other option which was email and it had a glitch and it would not go through. This is supposed to be a tech company? Can you imagine if a customer has a question regarding their product? Turns out they did me a favor by cancelling my order so I was able to order a system through a REPUTABLE company who actually services their customers.

WYZE. Customer service is brain dead... worthless
WYZE... Customer service is abysmal. Camera stopped working with Amazon Echo Show, but still works with my Iphone. Customer service is clueless...

They suggested I use WYZE CAM LIVE... that doesn't work either.

Seriously... I'll never use their products again.

Ordered a set of out door cameras. One won't take a charge. Went to return it. It says not eligible. At NO point during my order process was I notified my items were not returnable! I tried to replicate the order and it NEVER says not returnable. I now have a camera that is a paper weight straight put of the box and can't return it. One loyal customer GONE!

Hard to get to anyone. Their understanding of problem severely limited. Attending to problem: next to none. Customer service based in Philippines...if Wyze wants to outsource support: move it India, where there is a plethora very savvy IT people who can attend to and resolve problems promptly!

Tip for consumers:
Their website needs a severe overhaul with regards to customer support or details. I am so disappointed.

I bought the Wyze Home Security system. The install instructions are really good on all of their products that I have bought. However, I was installing the Home Security system and I had to pause several times because other things came up in my life. I wanted to find out how to continue installing. I called the support phone number, waited on hold for 45 minutes. All of a sudden, a recorded voice told me that no one was available to take my call and it hung up on me. I tried the Support Bot, but it was totally useless because it gave me answers which were not even related to my problem or the Home Security System. Wyze Support sucks.

Total WORTHLESS!, even worse, they just waste your time in to a fishing extradition getting no were. You end up talking top some 3rd. World country person, who has only a prerecorded statement.

Cameras work well, but the Wyze App security plans are a scam. The App suggested that I upgrade plans due to the number of cameras I have. They upgraded my plan on 12/09/2023. Then instead of replacing the existing plan they charged me for a full year on the new plan in the amount of 107.66 in 12/11/2023 and then for the old subscription the amount of 108.74 on 12/14/2023 when that subscription was to be cancelled and replaced by the new. They will not credit me back and everyone I speak with tells me all sales are final. Poor customer service. Also with a language barrier the conversations are hard to get through. If you buy these cameras self monitor only. Do not pay for subscriptions.

I have four Wyze cameras - one pan cam and 3 WzyeCam v3. I also have access to a shared v3 from my mother. I've bought several of these as gifts and have also recommended them to friends. When these things work, they are awesome. Problem is they frequently DON'T work! They CONSTANTLY go offline for no apparent reason. It's definitely not due to my internet. I pretty much have my entire home on smart devices, Echos in every room, smart plugs and lights. Everything seems to work smoothly with rare issues with anything other than my Wyze products. Oh and I have a Wyze keypad and smart lock too. Keypad is great because the lock RARELY unlocks automatically like it's supposed to. I have gotten in the habit of using my Alexa Auto to unlock it when I'm close to home because I've basically given up on it performing as it is supposed to. Locks automatically 100% of the time but the unlock is probably < 50% (my main reason for purchasing it!)
But back to the cameras - the v3 are far superior to the pan cam, which is more expensive. Image quality is wonderful on the v3 but pretty bad on the pan cam. I thought I would love the pan cam but it constantly moves (when it's not really supposed to). Most of the time when you try to view from it, it has turned itself all the way around (mine ends up facing a stationary object on my mantle, which in no way could have triggered it). It also fights against you when you are trying to change the view from your phone. I did find an easy fix for this - you can change the setting to a set area of viewing. It will still pick up motion and track but will return to the set area.
Another reason I can't recommend Wyze is their support. They make it extremely difficult to reach out to them - no easily accessible contact information to enable you to speak with a live person. Fortunately for me (or maybe not so fortunately) I've had to contact them so many times that I saved their number in my phone! When you do finally talk with them, they are very nice but every time, the ultimate fix has ended up being for me to uninstall the camera and reinstall it! Seriously?! With four cameras and all of them being set up to be on a schedule, that is a MAJOR pain in the a**! Especially since a couple of them I've had to do this with more than once.
A third issue, not a dealbreaker, but super annoying, is how they are constantly trying to get you to subscribe to their paid service for longer than 12 seconds of recording. First of all, Wyze, I bought your cameras largely due to the fact that I did NOT want another monthly subscription for something. I use my cameras for the most part to check on my dogs while I'm at work. Most of the time, 12 seconds is plenty but it's a little deceptive to say it's free and then you limit the time even if you have memory cards in your devices (which I do).
This company has the potential to be amazing. I absolutely LOVE my v3 cameras. Just wish they weren't so unreliable and the support was better. I think the underlying problem is they are trying to do too many things at once. Stick with the cameras and locks instead of smart vacuums and sprinkler systems and more!

Tip for consumers:
I would order Wyze products from Amazon and not directly from Wyze (if I ever order any more which is highly doubtful). Amazon is supremely better to deal with.

None. I’m still using (3) Wyze Cam v3, (1) Wyze Pan Cam, Wyze smart lock and keypad and have access to view my mother’s v3 camera. Unfortunately 4 of the 5 cameras have been offline for the past 2 days!

If you have a problem, good luck.I am in Canada,phoned several times. Waited countless minutes on a phone number that I may be paying long distance. I Gave up.And to get the number had to go through many chats.
Still have problem with connection and not sure if paying for service I do not have.

Works Intermittently, then disappeared totally from the ap. Called customer service. Reached Philipines. Excess 2 hrs on phone, no resolution. Not skilled at troubleshooting. Seriously worst product/company

I got a wyze V3 camera. This product functions just 6 months. It has one year warrantee. The first time it stopped working, they covered it. After 6 months, again it stopped working and they didn't cover it. Make your decision if it is worth it or not.

Worst wyze support ever! You buy you on your own. No help from support, it's all automated. Try one from Amazon so at least you are protected with return and money back. Don't buy from their website, you will loose shipping charges.

I did research on Wyze Cam 3 security cameras over a year ago and invested in a few cameras. Overall, they are great, but I was auto-enrolled in a subscription for Cam+. The auto-enrollment is not something you sign up for and is not prominently displayed anywhere. The charge for this service was $9.99/month and has increased to $14.95/m in June or July of 2023. When the charge first appeared as $9.99, I didn't recall signing up for it and I let it go. When the price increased, I still didn't recall signing up for the service and took action to look into it.

- Going into my Wyze account, I'm unable to unsubscribe at all because auto-enroll subscriptions don't show up there.
- I've had various tickets and calls with Wyze to remove me from auto-enroll. I was told it was taken care of, but it's not. It is absurdly difficult to unenroll from the auto-enroll. It seems that even Wyze escalated support can't unenroll me successfully.
- I contacted my credit card company and the only way to block this auto-enrollment is by changing my credit card number, which is a huge inconvenience in itself. While I try to work this out, I am disputing the charge every month for reversal.

There is something shady about this auto-enrollment practice that consumers should know about—I'm aware that Wyze is not the only company using it, either. First-level support didn't seem to know about it when they discovered the subscription was not showing on my account. Second-level support knew about it, told me they would undo it, but that didn't work.

I'm currently seeking ways to leave reviews about this issue and actively seeking resolution for over 3 months.

Either Wyze articles need to be updated with auto-enrollment information (including at your site), or if you know of a resource or articles about auto-enrollment, I'd appreciate that.

This is the worst product I've ever used. I was sold 2 outdoor cameras and one has never worked properly. I've worked with customer support and the issues continued. The customer service and the products are terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY as I have done for over a year. No refund will be made so DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I have a camera for protection I had to use video in court at one point. Then I had to get a new number, the app would not let me change my number. Got a new phone, had to reinstall the app, had to reset password. After 6 failed codes were sent to my email I got locked out. Called *******646 and after 2 hours they said I had to create a new account, tried that, didn't work lol ORDERED A DIFFERENT CAMERA! WYZE SUCKS! WORST CAMERA, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE TIME. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IN INDIA SO THERES THAT!

But with nine cameras and multiple outages from the time that the cameras were purchased until today my feelings have changed Dramatically. I have made multiple calls twice multiple tickets on multiple cameras never getting any real solution from them whatsoever. They want me to go climb on the roof and unplug the camera to power cycle it which I would have to do every single day of my life not only is this unacceptable it's ridiculous. The cameras only function part of the time I have nine cameras and most of the time at least 2 to 3 are out and I have to work on them in someway I can buy these cameras to sit here to spend my days working on them trying to get them to work power cycling them etc. and whenever camera doesn't work the application that's attached to it pops up a notice saying that my network is unstable and every time I see that I go and I do a network stability test from an outside entity and my network is always rated as excellent so sorry wise your little lie notes just don't work for me. As far as I'm concerned you're better off with analog because these people in this product they're too busy bringing out other devices and other things they're not even worried about fixing was already broken it's a waste of time. So to close the Wyze I thought I loved I absolutely hate.
