“Great products: Caring company”

Terri B.
5/5/21

I love all Younique's products, and their mission. This company started, with a desire to help women who were victims of childhood sexual, abuse heal. They also try to raise awareness, in an attempt to save kids of today from being abused. 10% of EVERY purchase goes straight to the Younique Foundation. The founders, as well as most employees and presenters, also donate. The products are high quality, adhere to European cosmetic standards, which are much higher than US requirements, and are totally cruelty free.

“Terrible company treatment”

Tiffany L.
10/11/21

I'm not an affiliate if the brand nor have I sold for them. I would NEVER be a part of that vicious company model. They let women build their portfolio of clients then find a way to remove her from her business. It's a petty jealous highschool way to model a "business". After seeing multiple women have their lively good taken from them by a higher seller I will never purchase or endorse Younique. Shame on you. My last straw was how you treated Jenny Peterson.

Bought the tanning drops and it's 3/4 full. Where is the rest of my product? The eye brow pencils I got are more black looking then on the website and there is no way to colour match to know if u have the right shade. So I got 2 eyebrow pencils that are useless. I think the bb cream might just match if I'm lucky. I paid a lot of money for this stuff and I'm very very disappointed. Don't waste ur money this company is a rip off. I can't even find where to even inquire about returns and their refund policy looks terrible. Don't even get full refund and I gotta pay shipping again?! Like what is this company even on?

I recently somehow connected by a Younique cosmetics rep on Facebook. I believe she started following me, through a mutual follow. While I limit myself with personal info if my work and company., somehow I feel people follow for the sake of adding one more possibility for their own personal growth.
I don't like what Younique promotes as I thought this woman was a consultant for various skin care /make up lines. During that time I was battling cancer & series of serious injuries due to a fall.
Mum pics posted on Facebook were all recent, showing the condition of my skin and pretty much how I use make up. Very little.
This gal then proceeded to track me as I came across her feed and was present in her live for a few minutes.
I was then Im a short messenger conversation.
I did state Im in recovery from injures and in treatment for cancer, almost completed. She was a bit overwhelming with her response as to well you have a lot on your plate but can contact me whenever type of response.
That was the line I was annoyed by and at the same time given my vulnerability a bit hooked on.
Nevertheless the following few online texts then went into her product Younique, a brand I never heard of and never came across. Once inquired about it she then proceeded to ask of my email. I made up an email as I did not trust an immediate relationship.
She said please fill out this questionnaire n I can do a consult. I did not want to fill out this questionnaire but explained what my skin type and issues were.
She ignored everything possible pushing the questionnaire. I complement her several times but she never bothered to tell me anything or respond to my
Description and pics online. She
WANTED the questionnaire. Nothing mattered, not my illness, my pain, my lack of time, nothing.
I was just another business or number of $$$ for her.
She never commented when I told her I already invested in Clarins, and La Mer, not s single comment. Totally ignoring me and what I had to say.
She finally sent me a link to her products. I'm awed at her car salesman type of attitude and fake nature.
I'm a successful designer / entrepreneur and innovator.
I'm savvy and educated. She never got the point but pushed until I never responded again.
Younique, I truly believe is an online Avon cosmetic company that offers business opportunities to sell their products on a competitive level. The minute I researched what she was pushing I was out. Done.
Had she been smart enough to question why I use what I use or how she thinks I looked at the very least I would have been obligated to buy a few items to test. She failed and still pushes her agenda the way she was taught unethically.
Younique stop creating these online selling monsters. Stop it! Bad bad skin care if they have to push this hard. Bye bye!

Initial opinion of this product was that I absolutely loved my items. Specifically a lip gloss. Unfortunately, the applicator "knobs" all became detached (3 pcs.) and I was no longer able to use it due to the gloss now covering my fingertips when I went to apply the product remaining in the tube. I reached out to Younique & my response was, "I am sorry to hear that LUCRATIVE lip gloss - Lonesome did not meet your expectations. Based on when this product was received, unfortunately it is no longer eligible for a replacement. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. You can find a detailed copy of our LOVE IT GUARANTEE return policy here." Basically, we will not stand by our products because you did not return it within the maximum allowable time of 90 days. Sadly the packaging on this item didn't become defective inside of the 90 days, as it was not a daily item in my routine. I was a first time customer with Younique and I am disappointed that I will not return based on their finding/decision.

Tip for consumers:
If you do not USE the product in full within the allowed 90 day time period, you will not get a replacement should something go wrong with the packaging / product.

Products used:
Younique Lucrative "Lonesome" Lipgloss. The product literally costs $20. I cannot understand why the company wouldn't replace it vs. losing a customer over $20. I would've even paid the shipping for the replacement item.

When a companies profit is put solely back into it's own pockets and nothing other than a paupers share is going to a sexual abuse foundation they claim is their number one reason to be in business then I've got serious issues with that and so should you. While not classified as a scam or pyramid scheme by definition, you can still see and smell a bad company with ill intent and their actions certainly fit the bill.

You can bet your pretty purple panties that I'm not going to stand behind a company that literally is making profit off the backs of victims of any kind of abuse just so they can have a tax haven. It's disgusting, immoral and sickens me.

Don't believe it? Before you come at me, I'd strongly suggest you look at company tax returns first and look at exactly how much is going to the so called "non-profit" compared to profits made in any given year. Did you know those are public record? Yep they are and readily available for you to check out.

I say overpriced because the quality is sub. I got a combo set with their foundation brush, I have had brushes last for YEARS. This had many hairs falling out initially, which they claim is normal, then after 2 cleanings all fell out, CHEAP. They didn't replace the brush just gave me partial credit to being a set. I bought the eyeliner and lip pencils, sharpener, and one of the lip moisturizers. The sharpener broke, it stays at home, I purchased a $3 from Sally's now it last loner. The sticks all are broken. Could not sharpen with any sharpeners I already had reason for buying theirs. Lip pencil color just fell out, just buy an inexpensive one it's the same! The lip moisturizer fell out as well. The beach front bronzer is cool, but it recently got so hard on me, it wasn't adhering to brush, scraped with knife to try to loosen product, then I thought I'd try to crush and put in another container, it was so hard I had to apply a lot of pressure to break it! Granted, I had it over a year but I still have my Clinique that I had before this product. Trash! The liquid foundation made my skin feel like it was crawling after about 5 hrs of wear. Pitched it too. The mood stuck blush I love, I hope it doesn't get hard! The individual shadows are nice, but really too high for what you get. I love the twist mascara! If I bought anything again it would be the mascara.

This is another MLM ( I don't knock the hustle) but at least be honest what kind of hustle people will be buying into. Also, the products are not that cool, I'd rather go to Sephora & get broke ( at least I get points)

Okay so i started selling for them and could not continue to do so.
I felt like i was ripping people off. Their skin care is really the only thing that holds up.
Everything is so overly priced and does not last long at all.
Foundation has been holding up. My mascara dried out in like 3 weeks. My eyebrow pencil lasted 2 weeks not doing make up everyday. The eyeshadow is amazing at first. No fall out. But once u get down into it it does have alot of fall out. But i still use it because i love the colors. So if u dont mind fall out its good. Just falsely advertised. Their liquid mascara is a pain in the butt to use. The brushes are good. But its like the main part of you make up does not last long and its expencive. If you dont mond spending 40 bucks on mascara every 3 weeks. Then 5 stars. But i was highly dissapointed it seemed to dry out anf the fibers stop going on good after the first couple of uses.

A good friend of mine did a live video about these makeup products, I watched and was septic a bit because I like beafore I buy, to touch, yes I am I touchy person. But because my Freind was so sincere I had to try it, what the worth that can be? I wouldn't like it? I'll return it or better give as a gift.
So I order the liquid makeup and the eyeshadow #4 ( my credit card was coughing and almost died) but hey if you want Mercedes you pay for it right? So I pressed the purchase button and waited, I kid you not! 5 days and it arrived. Very nice high end looking design. OKAY OKAY the product you ask? OMG I love it. Great eyeshadows the texture is wonderful and the makeup I had never had such a great one ( and I use Clinique, origin, etc) that's my kind so impressed by it so I went ahead and order the 3D mascara and another eyeshadow palette.
It is not cheap but it sure worth it I highly recommended
