What a terrible website! How unhelpful and frustrating not to mention betraying trust. You can't register (in the FAQ section it seems this is a major issue with most registration attempts not just mine) and any information offered is far from confidential. They call and report you to the very hospital or doctors that you say have been unhelpful and try to get you locked up in a mental ward for saying you are reaching out to them due to depression! I seriously can't believe it. God forbid should you want to talk to someone at beyond blue about your depression! The hospital wouldn't accept me because I am a lifelong sufferer of depression and they know me and my every mood and obviously I'm not depressed to the point of hospitalization. All I wanted was to join a discussion with the other people connecting on their website and after having trouble registering due to them not sending or resenting the confirmation email required to activate my registration, I emailed and asked them to resend it. And they try to have me locked up? Unbelievable! That website should be shut down for the safety of anybody feeling a little down and wanting to join a discussion or read members stories!
Don't go here!

  • Velocity Frequent Flyer

Virgin Airlines. Velocity Rewards should be renamed Terminal Velocity because no matter how loyal you ate to their "rewards program" you get nothing in return. Not only is it the most expensive airline after United Emarites and sometimes Qantas, after flying a minimum of four times every year, I get an email saying my rewards points to date are "0" yes, ZERO! After arguing with Virgin Velocity staff on the phone for half an hour, they not only deny sending me any emails but also deny my previous flights with them and ask me to verify every flight exvept the one flight they have on record. Lucky I kept all my tickets, but to be honest I shouldn't have to send them all in as they were all booked through the same travel agent because I am a loyal customer to Flight Centre as well. I was goi g to send them all in, but what's the point? To get velocity rewards equalling a redeem of a $15 clock radio? No thanks. Keep your points and I'll just let other people know not to bother joining or those who are already members to know your points won't be "registered" with their site. Simple. Plenty of cheaper and better Airlines out there anyway. What a waste of time and money seriously! Six years... over 30 flights with that airline and it all amounts to them calling me a liar - in not so many words but I got the terminal velocity idea loud and clear.

After getting all your information and promises of free entries into prize draws this site gives your details to HINDREDS of third party advertisers then FORCES you to buy crap you don't want or need to "secure your chance to win" - soooo over these sites! Especially this one!

One word SCAMMERS!
BE WARNED!
Don't give this site your details jabbers!
VIRUSES and sharing of your information to thousands of other scamming websites you'll never be free of! Do not click on the "claim your prize" or "enter here" buttons and do not open emails!

  • Funclub

12/4/15

FunClub.com is yet another misleading competition website that sends you "You've Won"! And "Claim your prize here"! With links to expensive mobile phone subscription services (@ $21.00 per week) and time links to "call and claim your prize here" with IPrimus being a major third party advertiser number provided. NO PRIZES. NO GIFT CARDS, NO WINNERS. Just another way to get more money out of you through deceptive methods!
Don't follow the links and don't believe a word these competition websites say!

  • Iprimus

12/4/15

Iprimus is a major third party advertiser through many competition websites such as daisydeals.com and aussiefreebies.com and their 1300-number is attached to "you've won a Gift Card call this number" and "you've won 3-5 lovely gift cards" "call this number now"! DONT CALL THE NUMBER. DO NOT SIGN UP TO IPRIMUS! They straight up lie to your face saying it must be YOU who made the error and that their number is not provided as they Do NOT give away gift cards or electronic prizes! Their number is attached to EVERY one of these sites winners emails and they refuse to give you anything but ATTITUDE!
I can't stress enough how much time, effort, data use and mobile credit they waste with these prizes with IPRIMUS that you can NEVER WIN.
The Department of Fair Trading will be hearing about this deceptive third party advertiser!

  • Frazzle.com.au

Scam for your personal details under the false promise of gifts to their members valuing $1.7 million and other prizes and member discounts only to give your personal details to third party advertisers to flood your email with JUNK MAIL AND VIRUSES!
Do not click on any links or register with this site no matter what they promise. It's all bs!

  • Silver Lake Resort

12/2/15

WARNING DANGEROUS SITE!
I don't even know how these people get your private phone number but once they've got it they call and call and call trying to sell you an "express luxury Silver Lakes" holiday package to Florida with NO IDEA if you have already purchased a holiday with them or who you are. They ramble on a tiresome 20 minute speech about how you've won some amazing luxury holiday, and another 20 minutes later and after many questions on how they got your number and how you could possibly win anything when you never entered any competitions, THEY HANG UP IN YOUR EAR! Then they keep calling a week later trying to get more information on you. I played along just to see what the story was, and there is no winning anything unless you consider a tiny discount on a travel package a win of any kind. For this "discount" you must give your credit card details and call them back in America (on your dime)!
I was hung up on twice when enquiring where they obtained my information and for this reason they get my highest attention and worst review yet!

  • Netflix

12/2/15

Movies are great but if they cost you money to view for limited times and cost 1GB of data per view it's actually cheaper to rent a dvd or get movies on demand for free with SBS on demand. Don't wait until you get your internet bill because you will have a heart attack! 1GB of data isn't enough for some movies. And 1GB of data on average prepaid costs $10-15. That one old movie for the price you can buy a copy ondvd for in stores. Incredibly expensive and misleading advertising. Nothing is free but Netflix is a joke.

  • EliteSingles AU

12/2/15

Before uou register as a member to ELITESINGLES.com think about about the fees included that aren't disclosed until you are a member. Firstly, it's the most expensive dating site I've ever on ($100 per month or 6 months@ $39.95 p/m). You can't read any messages. The questionnaire goes on for miles and is really tiring and useless for matches. You can't see your matches. You can't view any profiles or see any member photos until you pay the subscription. Endless requests to update your profile. ZERO customer support and IMPOSSIBLE to remove your own profile or photos. The members are not that great and not much activity on the site at all. Girls, don't bother with this one. Eharmony at least gives away a month free membership at certain times of the year. And my favourite dating site AdultxxxDate is a much better and Suprisingly has really nice guys on there. Not for the prudish and not entirely free, you and on full control of you own profile and photos and can message members freely. Elitesingles.com.au is the worst so far for transparency as well as subscription fees. Even Zoosk is better than this one. And I'm no fan of Zoosk so that's saying a lot.

  • BeQuick

12/1/15

Be Quick has lots of cars and cash with easy entries. A few theirs party advertisers but entering is still quick and easy. A rainbow choice of cars up for grabs and larger cash prizes with no mandatory social media shares or other set-backs like inviting friends to register. Go for it jabbers!

  • BinaryTilt

12/1/15

Trading made simple and for beginners this is a fantastic site with a real support staff ready to call and walk you through trading step by step. No losers here. A multimillion dollar computer system designed by a self made billionaire stock trader that actually works and predicts the market using technology unlike anything I've seen before. If you are looking to invest, this is a really good option and fun. If you have a gambling problem however, you may get caught out by your own need to chase your losses. Be careful not to go overboard and have fun. Simple site navigation. Forget the others.

  • Victoria's Secret

11/30/15

Online is the only way to get these in oz but postage is quicker than from most US sites. No six week waiting period. I got mine in 10 days. Perfect gift idea for your girlfriends boys. Something she won't see in stores in oz and something that says "I went the extra mile". Good prices compared to Aussie stuff. About the same but the quality is so much better.

  • SheSaid

11/6/15

I like this site for general girly articles but mostly I go on to enter completions because unlike the hundreds of other online entry competitions that make you spend 20mins filling in surveys or ticking no to all the third party advertising offers, shesaid.com keeps most of your details for the quickest easiest competition entries. Good prizes too lots of cars. Go for it girls gotta be in it to win it :)

  • Survey Choice

11/6/15

This site operates like a typical Asian site that tries to gather personal information on customers/members and promises earnings but you can only complete surveys if you answer the correct "demographical target" - (quote unquote). You will be offered your cash prize only if you become a maximum paying customer of insurance companies. After thinking you've won - after being told to collect your "$100 coles, woollies or Aldi prize" you find out it involves spending thousands on insurance policies from companies that charge the highest premiums. Expect your phone to run out of charge by lunchtime everyday because they all call regardless of filling out "not interested" forms. In subscribing is a nightmare too. I have to change my email and my phone number!

  • PrizeReactor

11/2/15

Prize reactor are a robot based promotions company with promises of prizes you can't win unless you subscribe for $5p/w and good luck trying to get out. Lucky I never got sucked in to this one but others obviously have wasted their time. Coles, Wooliesand Aldi are to blame as they are the ones offering prizes. Bad.

  • FreshTone

10/28/15

FreshTone contact lenses. Not only is the business owner rude and dismissive of customers, he's also forced me to report him to the Department of Fair Trading. So sad to be treated like this and fight for your money back after months of waiting, calling and texting. Unaustralian and unacceptable.

  • OpinionWorld

10/27/15

Never subscribe to these opinion survey sites! Endless prizes you can never claim, points that don't earn you a "thank you", promises of cash, holidays, phones and laptops that never arrive after giving every single bit of personal information... all you'll get is bombarded with charities wanting your bank details for periodical payments to be deducted from your account. Good luck trying to unsubscribe too.

  • Gumtree.com.au

10/26/15

I became a member and started selling straight away. With no selling restrictions or fees like eBay but your privacy is protected it is PayPal linked if you want that. I found this site much better for selling locally. I'm also finding small operator businesses like local at-home hairdressers and removalists really helpful.
