My fiancé and I spend quite a bit of time investigating the services of a wedding planner/officiant husband wife team called Heart of Sedona Weddings. What a waste of time. During the planning process they kept coming up with excuses as to why they did not respond back to our email inquiries in a timely manner. Finally at one point, Reverend Andrew said he would get in touch with us in a couple of months so we could secure a date and contract. Well he never got back in touch so we assumed that since our wedding was small and that we were not interested in his wife's planning services that they were just not interested. I submitted an honest review on Wedding Wire and I received an email from Wedding Wire that the vendor had disputed the review and that it had been deleted. The bottom line is that vendors pay a fee to listed on Wedding Wire so of course they will delete any negative reviews. I would definitely recommend that if you are planning a wedding, check a source such as Yelp for true, honest reviews. I did post my review for Heart of Sedona Wedding on Yelp. Amy from Illinois
Hi Amy,
Thank you for posting your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear of any confusion caused! Per our Terms of Use, all reviews must be written by legitimate customers of the business. In order to be reinstated, we require documentation that you worked with this vendor (either a contract signed by both parties or proof of payment). If you have any of the documentation needed, please do not hesitate to send it our way at support@weddingwire.com for us to verify your review!
Please keep in mind, WeddingWire never simply removes negative reviews. The more reviews on our site, the more information there is for engaged couples to make decisions about vendors to hire for their own weddings. However, once a review is disputed, it becomes the Dispute Team's responsibility to determine whether or not that review in question does or does not violate our Terms of Use. Thank you for your cooperation - we look forward to hearing from you!
