I booked a hotel with Cheap Tickets, figuring it would save me money, since I'd booked my flight with them as well. It seemed quite expensive, but I figured that their "low price guarantee" assured me that they'd refund the difference if the price was lower elsewhere. So I looked online, just to check, and sure enough, the same double-occupancy room for the same dates was more than $100 cheaper on Hotels.com. I applied for the refund, which was robotically denied. When I tried to call them to ask about this, guess what - "Contact us" did not provide a phone number. I hope sharing my experience will help others avoid dealing with this sleazy company.

This is a total scam, but very convicingly produced. It seems to sell various popular brands of shoes, but once you enter your information and credit card, you get nothing - no acknowldegement, no receipt, no shoes. None of the contact information worked, and none of the WHOIS information for the site checked out either. Once you've been suckered into putting your information into this site, the only thing to do is cancel your credit card.
