I live in the UK and have been subscribing to Viki for several months paying $4.99 / month (which works out at ~£3.92). Without informing me Viki changed my payment to local currency and this month billed me £4.99 / month. I reported this straight away and asked for a refund, as I don't agree with a 1:1 exchange rate. Viki have said all account now paid in local currency and they will not give me a refund. Basically they have my money and I'm not getting it back.
I've been scammed out of about £1.10 extra this month, so I have now cancelled my subscription (it will be Viki's long term loss).
I would advise any Viki subscribers to check their account carefully, as this rouge company can increase your payment without telling you. It doesn't seem to bother them that by doing so they have broken UK laws - "They should tell you about a price increase, or any other change, 30 days before it happens.".
If this was for a larger amount I would have reported them to the ombudsman and taken them to the small claims court. But in this case I will just switch to a more reputable streaming platform and Viki loses my business.

I bought a set of Signature Garden solar lights which look great and illuminate the path really well. One of the lights failed after a year, so I contacted the company for help. Their customer service was second to none; I had a replay to my email within 2 hours and received a replacement the following day.
There aren't many companies out there that offer this level of service and I would have no hesitation buying from this company again.

I know that with Covid-19 many companies are struggling to keep in business, but Primrose is showing its customers that it does not care. I had a generic email yesterday saying that my order has now been cancelled.
I placed my order in March, with one item due in stock on the 2nd April, when I checked early April it was showing as back in stock, so I thought everything was okay.
Since then I have been sending Primrose emails and on-line messages for the past 4 weeks (phone lines closed), trying to find out when they were going to dispatch my order - not a single reply.
I have even contacted my credit card company, to report that Primrose has not sent me my order and is not replying to any communication!
I am extremely disappointed and upset that I have wasted my time with Primrose. I could have bought the items separately from other companies, but choose to use Primrose as they had all the item I wanted (or so I thought).
Like other customer I would like to give 0 star and I will never be using them again.

I purchased an iPad mini 2019 at £287.84 from eGlobal Central and used their free shipping (on orders over £50). The iPad mini wasn't (actually) in stock and after several days of delay I eventually got an order dispatched email (with tracking link). After a couple of days, the shipment tracking then stopped at the My Hermes national sorting hub and after chasing eGlobal Central and My Hermes for weeks. Eventually My Hermes phoned me to apologies that they had lost my package and that they would compensate the eGlobal Central and I should go back to them.
After chasing eGlobal Central, they eventually came back and said "I regret to inform you that the package was not insured so the maximum refund that I could provide you with is 10GBP"
So, if you are looking to purchase an item over £50 from eGlobal Central. Then you are taking a big risk if you don't pay for the extra insurance, which is 3% of the order cost, so budget that into the price!
I was very fortunate that I made this purchase with a credit card, so could get my money back from them.
This will be the one and only time that I use eGlobal Central and all I can say is "Buyer Beware".
