I bought a pink cashmere shawl as a gift. The recipient wore it to a wedding and it bled all over, and ruined a $400 dress. The dyes should not bleed in a quality item. I've actually never heard of that. It took a while but I did get a refund. But what about the ruined dress. They are selling cheap junk at fairly high prices.

Tip for consumers:
Dye ran and ruined expensive dress.

I've just been through a nightmare with these people. I cancelled my order within minutes of placing it. I was never sent an order number so assumed it was cancelled. I visited their website multiple times and signed in and they showed no orders for my account. They sent the merchandise anyway. No paper work so no way to return it, and you can't send them an email on their website without an order number. They kept my money and I cannot get it back, even with the help of my credit card company. During Pandemic so tired of being ripped off by Chinese companies--one problem after another.

Verified site experience

Always a pleasure. So many good choices.

Nothing I received was of sufficient quality to justify the albeit modest price. Truly cheap junk. The shipping took forever---slow boat from China. I gave my items away. I have received okay clothing from China, but not usually except from reputable sites like Etsy or Amazon. Note to self, no more orders from China regardless of how nice the pictures look.

The plants you receive are the worst EVER for an online site. This is not legitimate. I received dead roots, literally minuscule plants with dead tops and a few feeder roots. They told me to plant them because they had a 1 year warranty. That covers 40% of cost, and you get a store credit. After 6 weeks nothing grew. Even Dave's Garden won't accept further reviews because Tennessee Wholesale Nursery was suspected of putting up fake positive reviews. I wish I had researched before buying.

The "free sample" ends up costing $99.80 if you don't click on the fine print at the bottom listing terms and conditions. If you don't return the product within 14 days they give themselves the right to charge you 99 bucks. And again every 30 days. It never says this in large print. Fooled again.

Like the reviewer below my experience was not good. The first pair of shoes that I ordered were fine, no dying required. The second pair came the wrong color. They offered me a refund of $18 (cost $115) or I could send them back to China. I accepted--feeling over a barrel. I then did not get my meager refund. I emailed them again and they asked for my Paypal information. Confused I called Paypal and they opened a case dispute. Elegant Park raised the offer to $34. Paypal requested a return label and they never had the courtesy to respond to that request. Without my permission Paypal then accepted the offer without consulting me. Bottom line--it sometimes works out ordering clothing from China but if there is an error DO NOT EXPECT A HAPPY RESOLUTION FROM THIS MERCHANT, or help from Paypal.

I have been writing reviews on Yelp for a long time, honest, both positive and not so positive. I foolishly believed the reviews were anonymous so I could be honest. After a recent negative review I heard from the business owner who told me he would provide the service I had been waiting four months for if I changed my review. That is blackmail. I heard from him again when I did not change it. I had no idea my contact information was available to business owners, who could then harass me. Contact with Yelp twice returned the same boilerplate response. End of my Yelp career.

  • VCR-Players

My experience was dreadful. I needed just what they sell, and they claim that their VCR-DVD players are reconditioned. I ordered one (shown on their website WITH remote) despite being unable to get them to return a phone call or email. I got my VCR, but no remote. After a great deal of effort to get a hold of them I heard back that the remote was coming directly from their supplier. It took a month. How could they have reconditioned the thing without the remote and been sure that it worked properly? Before the remote came I asked them to send me a prepaid label to return it since it had taken too long and I no longer needed it. Never heard back. Now I am stuck with a combo player of questionable reliability. I gave them two stars instead of one because I actually eventually received something, which was probably picked up at a garage sale and sold to unsuspecting internet buyers.

I wish I had read these reviews before buying. No where on their site does it say they are from China. Each article has glowing reviews which could not possible be real. Their merchandise is cheap and poorly made. I bought two skirts and they were junk. In order to return them I had to get a return authorization, that is when I found out I had to mail to China. That would have costed $20. They offered me an $18 voucher and a $9 refund. I accepted since my total cost was $47, I thought then I would not have to mail (no assurance it would get there, or that the refund would be forthcoming. After accepting, three emails later got the voucher and used it. No credit. They said I got the $18 voucher OR the $9 refund. REALLY, for a $47 purchase. Threw out the skirts and wrote this review.

I read all the glowing reviews and was very excited to find this place. I order quite a few napkins, enough to qualify for free shipping. The quality was very poor, loose threads, ragged and crooked seams, etc. No problem, I'll just return them. Customer service is very very hard to deal with. I finally got a response and they said they don't take returns (must have missed that) but they would make an exception with a re-stock fee. Okay. Took quite a while to get the return authorization number, but I sent it back FedEx as they requested at my own expense. Then, no refund. Tracking showed it delivered. Again contacted customer service. They were going to look into it. No response followed. Finally I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they resolved it.

BEWARE of these guys. They advertise free shipping and sneak in a "priority to the US" charge that is more than the merchandise (I'm pretty sure that did not appear in the shopping cart). I cancelled the order immediately after placing it and could not get a refund. Apparently their default refund (not stated) is to issue a credit. I emailed them five times asking for a refund not a credit, and got the same stock email back in return. I disputed with Paypal, and they just failed to respond to Paypal. I don't think they are trying to be honest and fair merchants, but rather to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. NO customer service. Paypal should be ashamed for dealing with them.

  • The Mine

I pretty much agree with the others. Lowe's should be ashamed of themselves. The product I received came in a million pieces and was hard to assemble, never did come together straight, had stickers all over the wood, and deep gashes. Could not return it, once it was out of the box it was not going back in. I sent pictures and they offered me a small refund to compensate for the damage. I wrote a review on their website and they DID NOT PUBLISH IT. I gave the product 3 stars, so the review was fair. I emailed as to why the review was not published and got no response. I am disgusted with merchants who only publish positive reviews.

Tip for consumers:
Don't trust the reviews.
