I'm going to attempt to write this review as objectively as possible, but first I think it's best to include a little bit about myself.

I'm very into social media and do a lot of different social media marketing / inbound marketing for a few online businesses. So naturally I'm very involved with Twitter / Facebook etc (and why I signed up for this site)

Okay onto foursquare... if you haven't heard of foursquare it's a social network that encourages you to go out and explore the world. Using mobile location technology users check in to different locations.

Checking in earns you points and by checking in you can earn various different fun badges that display on your profile. For example during the Preakness (2nd part of the triple crown of racing) I got the swarm badge for checking into a place with 50+ people checked in.

The site encourages you to earn new badges and explore the world. Different tourism boards have jumped in like VisitPa.com and award users badges for visiting different places in the State.

The other major piece is mayorships. You become a mayor of a place when you have the most check-ins at that location. It's fun to battle for the mayorship of different locations like your local Starbucks who used to offer a discount to their local mayor.

Foursquare is a great fun product of the web and if you're socially connected and not afraid to share your location join up!

I live in the Baltimore area and have been subscribed to Groupon for like 3-4 months now. I think that the concept is awesome and is really capitalizing upon the "social" part of the internet.

I have purchased 3 groupons that were mostly food related, because I love to eat out! The groupon changes daily and it's typically around 40-50% off. The reason that I only rated it 3 stars is because LivingSocial its main competitor has also launched in the area.

Since then livingsocial has offered more interesting deals at the same prices. Groupon has about 60 million dollars more in funding so I would be expecting something greater from them... they have yet to deliver.

Who doesn't love Amazon.com? They have almost every product on the entire earth and ship very fast. The business intelligence feature of the site provides you with additional products you may be interested in or what other people have purchased.

I bought a digital video camera and paired it with the perfect tripod for cheap! I read online that the Amazon.com profit margin is somewhere between 1.5 - 3% on each item that they sell. This is how they are able to offer such low prices on everything.

Big time amazon fan and a prime member. Highly recommend the site to purchase almost anything you need.

This website is a great resource for checking the balance on your gift cards. I have a lot of gift cards that I've used on different occasions but I never cared to write the remaining balance of the card down or on the back of it.

At gift card balance now you can find out how to check the balance of your gift cards very easily. They have a large list of different merchants and then the site gives you the direct link to check your gift card balance, phone number to call, or suggests that you go to the store to check your balance.

A great free resource on the web.

My interest in Ghana was sparked after watching their tremendous run during the World Cup 2010. I stumbled upon the Ghana movie channel and was very impressed by the layout and different videos provided. The videos show the diverse culture in Ghana and how united the nation truly is.

One of the things that I liked the most about the website was that it wasn't filled with ads, popups, or anything else spammy. The design was very clean and fluid, while navigating the site was easy to do.

Great website highly recommend checking it out if you are interested in Ghana.
