Spacebattles.com tolerates abuses that won't be tolerated in better run forums. Namely verbal garbage, moderator approved BTW.

Beyond that, people do not view entertainment as sonething to be enjoyed and set aside. They view it as something to be put on a pedestal and obsessed over. They worship fiction about as hard as fanatical sports fans.

So unless you like expletives on every other post within 3 (within a post BTW) and you also put fiction on a pedestal and obsess over it, then spacebattles is not for you.

It is not even about spacebattles. It is more about fanatical love of fiction than anything else.

The most popular fiction on SB is the occult themed warhammer 40k as well as a bunch of anime and SW, and ST to a lesser extent. Posters tend to know way too much about fictional universes.
