I signed up for econostores.com, and it was everything they said it was, and my website was easy to set up, too. I liked the fact that there was no setup costs, first month free, and you pay no money upfront. I like to see what I'm getting into.

There were all the bells and whistles of any database-driven storefront, things like sub-categories, multiple images per item and options to satisfy just about any selling situation, so I am a happy camper. I especially liked the search function where a site visitor can search for any item based on keywords.

The only thing that might be a turnoff for some is that there are different prices for the number of items you are going to sell. In other words, you can't have unlimited items in your store. I have less than 100 items to sell, so I was able to sign up for their smallest store, and it's working great! I already got a sale for my most popular baby item.

Overall, I'd say you'd have to be crazy to pay the prices those other guys are asking for a database-driven e-store with a search feature. With econostores, you can be on a par with the big boys and have all the features you need.
