There are definitely valid issues posted regarding Venus reviews. If you are a potential customer, there are a few things you should be aware of:
*If you are ordering from Canada or overseas; there is a likely chance that the package will not be delivered within '5-7 business days'. I have placed 6 orders with Venus since June of 2019 and one took over 2 weeks for delivery - not at the fault of Canada Post. The parcel sat at the loading dock in New York for a week before it was sent across the border. Needless to say, the dress I purchased for an event did not arrive on time. So, even if you were to pay for priory post; be mindful there could still be delays.
* Often there are errors with orders. Sometimes it will be the wrong size and sometimes you could receive something completely foreign to what you actually ordered to replace it. For example: I ordered a smock halter in size small and receive a size 14x piece of lingerie instead. It was very frustrating - especially for a Canadian customer; take into consideration of duty and taxes plus postage to return items (it's often not worth sending back when you think of the hassle).
* Read the reviews on each article of clothing you plan on purchasing! Sometimes what you see in the picture will not be as appealing in person. Reviews have become a major guideline when deciding wether I should purchase or not.
All that being said; I do remain a loyal customer to this company for the following reasons:
* Even with the exchange rate, duty and taxes they sell some cute and beautiful clothing at a reasonable price. Their garments are usually unique, pretty and easy to wear.
* If you are persistent; customer service will make things right when you present a valid issue. They are aware of the areas which need improvement and will do their best to resolve a grievance. I am a returning customer despite past concerns because of this.
