This is an addition to another complaint about Jeg's and how they support what they sell. I bought Speedmaster pistons # pce305.1017 and took them with sbc 4 bolt engine block to get balanced. First they sold me wrong piston rings, then I found out that the speedmaster rings # pce306.1063, that don't have any info about gapping measurements. I tried gapping and made a mistake than tried ordering again after 6 months they said they can't get them. They got me to order another set of rings and again wrong. Then they say I have had them to long for a refund. Now the rings 1.5 1.5 2.5 that were suppose to fit and the measurement of pce306.1063 Rings were also wrong. The oil ring also needs an oil support ring which JEG'S never told me about but the the oil rings and the oil support ring doesn't fit. I don't want to get other pistons because the engine & components are balanced together. I was now suggested to take pistons in to machinist to get the oil ring opened up to fit oil rings. I have tried 6 sets of pistons and JEG'S faulty speedmaster rings & pistons are costing me big time and now the cost of a machinist. I should have finished my sbc 383 build almost a year ago. Again Jeg's FAULT for all my money spent and troubles. Don't make the same mistake as myself & don't buy FROM JEG'S

I bought Speedmaster pce305 1017 pistons, first they sold me the wrong rings. Then they sold me rings that I just found out they were also wrong after I thought I had made a mistake gapping rings. They never mentioned about a oil support ring, so I thought I screwed them up. They sold me another set of rings and they didn't fit. After a year of trying to get rings for the piston, and after 3 sets of wrong rings, I found out they can't get rings for the pistons and told me they are not being made any more. While waiting for rings, I called Jegs and asked about other parts I ordered and was waiting for. They said they made a mistake, that they put on a Fed ex truck to Florida instead of Winnipeg, Canada. From sending me 3 sets of wrong rings, which I still don't have rings that will fit and shipping to wrong Country and having me have to find rings and not taking back pistons. They sold me pistons that they won't give me back because they say it's over the time to get my money back. The time has been their fault and their stupidity. I get probably 2 emails a day for parts and advertisements and I will never buy from them again because of stupidity, bad tech suggestions and money they think I have to throw away. I suggest that other buyers for parts don't make the same mistake as me to buy anything from F#?*<^>@ JEGS

Delivery was put on the sidewalk, edge of part was sticking out of box and no door bell alert, no knocking.
