It's unfortunate. I joined city-data to check on some potential states to consider moving to. I didn't find them particularly helpful but it was interesting.

As the seditious conspiracy continues in this country, I was attempting to post the truth about what's happening here. Such as carlson going to Hungary to do his fox "commentary". Then we saw CPAC go to Hungary and Orban (dictator) coming to the US. "Republicans" and CPAC embracing Orban, the autocrat as he turns that country into a minority-white christian nation. So, all I so is state fact. But it's bombarded with extreme, right-wing conspiracy theorists who are allowed to propagate lies. I did get knocked off as a troll while the pretty insane lying is allowed to continue.

So, thanks to Sitejabber, for allowing me to see that I'm not the only one out here who sees city-data allowing right-wing extremists to rant but conveniently blocks out the truth. What a country.

Over two decades ago, I purchased various Sony products. The last was a VCR. I stopped buying their products because I believed Sony was overrated because their products had too many problems. I had trepidations when looking at new tvs last year. But, I hoped time had improved the company; it hadn't. I made another error when I bought a Sony. Not attaching images (no need) or proof of purchase (too personal).

Now, I have a $700 television under a year old and has a warranty but the tv has a problem
With sound and Sony is refusing to honor their warranty. I'd be happy to repair it but Sony
Doesn't do that, they only send replacements. This renders the warranty useless. I have two
Other tvs that work with the same shows and are fine. I took one of the two tvs, a $239 LG
And plugged it into the main cable box as the Sony and the LG worked. The setup of my Sony is out of the box vanilla and Sony still couldn't resolve the problem and still refused to honor the warranty.

Two Sony reps blamed the problem on my cable company. I'd like to blame my cable
Company (really, I would - I don't like them) but it's not the problem. One rep kept telling me to look in my cable box and I said I can't. We were in this "loop" several times before my blood pressure went up and I got mad at him. I've had three cable companies and I couldn't do that with any of them. I got off the phone, called my cable company and asked the question per the Sony rep. He spelled it out for me and gave me his direct number to call back. The cable rep told me what the setup was. I called the rep back, he didn't believe me and wanted me to conference him into a call (I couldn't do that – I don't know how and he refused the cable co. Number – he could've called so he obviously wasn't interested in resolving the issue). He insisted a replacement tv would have the same issue and I said I'll never believe that (problem started after 10 months and works with two other cheaper tvs). I spent hours on the phone,
Chats, replacing things like the HDMI cable, ports, and researching the issue.

So, I will toss the tv rather than allow my blood pressure to climb each time something cuts out sound. Sony was always too big for its britches. Now they have a computer in the tvs and can't handle issues sufficiently to keep any consumer happy with them.

Tip for consumers:
My strong recommendation is not to buy Sony products as they're overrated and too expensive. The issue would've ended with a same replacement Sony or preferably a partial refund. If a $239 LG tv works better than a $699 Sony, that clinches it for me.

Products used:
I'm confused by this question but I have the tv for now. I'm tired of dealing with it and need a break.

This is the second time I inadvertantly signed on to my credit card website to find a charge from chewy that morning. I called immediately called chewy. The rep reversed the charge. It may have been an auto-renew but for what, I have no clue. I looked for something in the charged price range and there's nothing. I had no assurance this wouldn't happen again and I asked.

I had too many problems with the prescription renewal. I was the go-between with my vet and chewy's pharmacy and chewy made me nuts. They just didn't fill the order but there was no communication as to why and there's at least one other review here that looks like this issue. I ran out of time and needed the script so I spent $$ more and used my vet. I called chewy after I thought I turned off all auto renews (there would be only two) and asked them to delete my account. Acct may be deleted but the garbage is still being charged.

I remember when my company started doing the auto-renews (@2008) and they did it in the hopes consumers would forget about them allowing my co. To make more money off consumers. Don't know if it's this way for chewy but it certainly smells like it or it's just incompetence.

Tip for consumers:
I used them because buying scripts for my pet and food was easier in one place. But the problems with no communication from chewy is abominable. So, easier wasn't worth it. I'm now using two websites (not anything chewy) to do this.

If you cancel your account, ensure all auto-renews are off and I'd take a blasted screen print showing this. If you call to cancel your account, try signing in to ensure your sign-on was really deleted.

dog food and initially some prescriptions but argh, it wasn't worth it

I made a screenprint of my 1/2021 RCN bill because I knew/believed they'd do something to invalidate the promotional offers before the offer ended and wanted a reminder in front of my nose. Without a contract, they keep increasing their prices and they won't let you down. In Nov. '21, my bill was $311 but in Jan. '21 it was $220. We've had Optimum and Charter (in 2010, Charter was ranked at the bottom of Cons. Rpts. List of ranked cable svcs).

On their 1/2021 bill, a few promotional offers were clearly listed that expire July-August 2022. In July 2021, there was a vague paragraph on page 4 of bill "IMPORTANT NOTICE" that said an error was made. What error - nothing was stated and contacting 2 or 3 RCN reps didn't know but the bill went up the next month. Then it went up again in Nov. For a bundled internet package from $115.99 to $141.99 and their obsolete cable modem from $7.95 to $12.95 BUT both have expiration dates of July & August 2022.

If you still need to be convinced not to get RCN, look at BBB and see how many complaints they have. In the meantime, I'm just waiting for the next insane increase. Hope my spouse changes his mind so I can ditch them and celebrate :) !

Tip for consumers:
don't use rcn

Had been using yelp for years. The problem is what everyone else is saying - if it's bad, it tends to end up in the not added into the rating column. If it's good, it's there.
I just deleted all reviews (good and bad) and will never go back there. And, I can say that with confidence.

The catch is this happens in many other places (not here, which is refreshing)... So, we resort to no reviews except on sitejabber?

Tip for consumers:
Don't use yelp ...
