We bought a meile cat and dog CX1 hoover to replace our old dyson and have been so disappointed that we are now going to sell it as 2nd hand and get our dyson out of the garage! The design is incredibly poor. It is a pull along small hoover that has no ability to wrap the hose around the hoover itself in storage so i an irritant in the cupboard as it gets caught on everything, the cat and dog head is the only usable head (it comes with 2) but due to being a rotary brush head gets clogged very quickly, the bagless dust compartment opens downwards and 4 out of 5 times the latch releases itself on detaching emptying the dirt all over the floor. Its very noisy on lino despite having supposed settings for it. We are going back to our dyson and will not buying any more of their products :( it seems products and company services on the whole are getting so much worse these days. Stick to word of mouth from trusted friends and let all else go!

We were forced to use 'dolphin appliance care' in ely cambridge, uk for a second time by our insurance company; domestic and general, despite our many requests for another company. The same guy has come to our house on two occasions and cannot help himself but to be passive/covert aggressive to women (he doesn't do it when my partner is around). He has stated in a patronising mannor 'I feel sorry for you' (for having the washing machine we did) and 'you've obviously been washing clothes a lot longer than I've been alive' (he looks older than me). Its washing machine repair, not rocket science. Say hi, fix the machine and leave. The only reason I would cut him any slack is that he looked really ill this time. Nevertheless, we have now thrown out our warrantee with domestic and general (still 5months left on it!) with the whole intent of never having to use this specific company again. Ever! Be warned!

We ordered some venetian bathroom blinds and got sent the wrong bracket. After contacting them and going through the usual bs and put on hold once answered. Finally we got through to someone (an unpleasant, passive aggressive, poorly trained staff member) who talked repeatedly loud over me but eventually agreed to send the right brackets. They were really complex to fit to the original brackets and impossible to fit to the blinds themselves. We called for a refund and return, they stated that they are NON RETURNABLE! Check the small print of these toxic companies. A good company is happy to accept returns due to knowing they have a good product. Not this one! Be warned!
