I sent a parcel with Evri covered under there £20 free insurance. The item sold on ebay for £12.95 and when delivered looked like it had been driven over! I obviously refunded my ebay customer and took the matter up with Evri. They have done nothing but put obstacles in the way rather than reimburse me £12.95 and the postage paid. They were sent photographs but they weren't interested. Issued a potential ccj against them for reimbursement but they are "fighting it". I am now a further £35 out of pocket in court fees. Don't bother using Evri if you want your item covered by insurance and expect to get reimbursement if there is a problem.

Tip for consumers:
just dont bother using Evri!!

Purchased a refurbished washing macine on line and paid for it together with delivery costs. There were several models advertised at different prices. We picked a Hoover.
Couple of hours later I received an email from Appliance Direct stating that my order had been cancelled. I was amazed so telephoned them to find out what was going on. After being given the run around and speaking to FOUR different staff at 13 pence per minute, it was confirmed that there had been a mistake in the pricing. Strangeley enough they were all removed! As I say stay away. I await to see if I get a refund. Dreafull company.

THE SEA Fish and Chips.
We were in there for food on Saturday 31.08.2019. My wife ordered a Jacket Potato and I had fish and chips. We noticed a server wondering around with a plate of fish and chips didnt seem to know which table it was for so he put it back on the "Server". Some time later we saw the cook add a plate with a jacket potato on to the server. The waiter picked up the jacket and the plate of fish and chips that had been hanging around for a while and brought them to us. I asked if the fish and chips were still hot as they had already been around the restuarant and then left on the counter for a while, he didnt understand thouroughly just mumbled that the plate was hot. I told him I wasnt going to eat the plate! My wife was eating her jacket but the bottom half was uncooked so we caught the attention of a waiter (a different one) and said the jacket was raw and his reply was ""go and see the cook i'm to busy"". So my wife had to go to the counter and speak to the cook herself fortunatley he did her another jacket. The second one was properly cooked plus the presentation was so much better as the beans were in a seperate dish whereas in the first attemp they had chucked the beans all over everything.
We looked for a manager but couldnt see anybody to report this matter too. We had to pay in advance so didnt get to complain to anybody.

The attitude of this staff member was unbeleivable. How do they keep a job with this attitude?


We had done our shopping in store and thought we would treat ourselves to a couple of breakfasts. Service was very quick, to quick for the food to be any good. As the waitress put my breakfast in front of me I could see immediately that the bacon was dried up and burnt. I told her I didn't want that bacon, she went away and came back with one slice of overcooked bacon on a plate swimming in grease and said that's all they had left! The food had obviously been cooked and kept warm for hours. The whole meal was disgusting and luke warm. We nibbled at it and left. If we hadn't paid in advance I wouldn't have paid. I dont like confrontation so we left it at that and said no more.
How the staff can serve it I dont know and the cook obviously couldn't care less what he or she sends out. It only takes a few minutes to cook a breakfast so why does the food need to be kept in heated cabinets for so long and become dried out? They couldnt even manage to send out hot beans. Just remembered the egg shell on the egg!


This company is a complete and utter shambles. Bought some goods from them on a buy now pay later. Paid them every penny i owed in december and received an email confirming payment. They are continually chasing me for payments, two more demands received this morning. I have spent hours on the phone and have sent several emails asking them to update their details but to no avail. They are ruining my good credit rating, it already shows i have missed payments. STAY AWAY FROM LITTLEWOODS ALSO KNOWN AS SHOP DIRECT THEY DONT KNOW THEIR A**E FROM THERE THEIR ELBOW. I for one will have nothing to do with them ever again.


There not worth 1 star but there wasnt a minus! Decided on a late break for my wife and I. Looked on homeaway and found one we liked sent of request to book complete with card details, rather surprised to be told that the owner had 24 hours to reply, we were travelling in 4 days. 23 hours later received a email stating that the apartment was not available (still advertised as available) so we booked another apartment sent of the details and our card details once more and once again were told that the owner had 24 hours to reply. 10am monday morning we received an email wherein the owner said his neighbour's flat had been put out of action and the neighbour wanted to use their apartment for the people who were in the broken one so we couldn't have it. OK these things happen but the owner said he learnt of this at 8am Sunday morning, so it took him 26 hours to inform us that we couldnt have the apartment and we were flying the next day. I wouldnt trust homesaway to organise anything. There staff have trouble speaking the language and couldnt care less attitude, for instance asking me if I had emailed the owner when i wanted to enquire about anything, are they stupid it could take 24 hours to get a response.
