It was fantastic... until it wasn't. Two weeks after the treatment, the filler had bunched up into a solid blob on the side of my eye.

I sent them three texts as well as a photo. All were ignored.

After three months it was worse, so I contacted them again asking if they could advise me. I was told that three months had passed since I had my the injection and I should understand that there was nothing that they could do. I was told that I should have contacted them with in the first month. They claimed that they hadn't received any of the three texts I had sent them.

I sent a second email attaching my BT bill and proof of texts that were sent and asked for advice. I was ignored again.

In the third email which they hadn't replied to, I told them I was angry and upset that I was being ignored again and lied to about the three texts they claimed not to have received. BT bills don't lie. Not having received any of the three texts?

Amazingly they were very quick to reply to that email. I was told that I was being rude and they wouldn't tolerate being communicated with in this manner. It was apparent that their reaction/non-reaction was not taken into consideration.

Their thinking is that to openly express that you are angry and upset because you felt ignored and lied to is considered rude.

I had asked in two separate occasions for advice and a way forward and got none. I am not sure what more I could have or should have done.

In their response, they included information about what could have gone wrong and said that they were not prepared to see or correspond further with me and I should go elsewhere to get the problem sorted.

Having thought about it, fillers are meant to last at least 6 months. As this is a procedure, things can go wrong which in my case it did. Their policy of coming back to them in a one-month window seems to be questionable given the service and product they are selling. Even with consumer goods, you have more protection rights.

From the information, they provided it seems as though the issue could be relatively easily resolved yet they chose to go down the route that they did. Not very helpful, ethical, or professional in my view.

The up side is that the other eye looks good.

This company is unbelievably unethical.

Yes, they do get good deals BUT BEWARE if something goes wrong and you want to cancel you will fight to get your money back. That is if you are prepared to fight because it is a very long, difficult and stressful process to get them to do what they should do immediately.

I was upfront from the beginning that the flight I was booking was a present from my sister and that I had to confirm with her if the price was acceptable.

I was told by Nick that in order to keep the seat available I should pay a deposit and that I would get back to him.

He never told me that I would not get my money back.

My sister managed to get a cheaper flight and I asked for my deposit back and was told it is not refundable.

He then sent me an email stating that the deposit is not refundable AFTER he had taken my money.

It is a huge battle to get them to refund my deposit which after much fuss they eventually did.

STAY AWAY!

Zenith are amazing.

They were so helpful on my outbound flight when I was running late and were fantastic in accomodating me.

Again on the inbound flight which came in later than scheduled, they went out of their way to help me out.

They are very professional and their rates are also very competitive.

Pest Control

This company is unethical, incompetent and dishonest.

They came to deal with a rat problem, put down glue traps without telling me which they left without checking (against Animal Welfare Act) and when confronted, blamed it on the previous pest control company. They lied to their own governing body about having done this.

I am totally against glue traps as it is the most horrific way to die. However, while the government is going to ban them shortly the current way of using them is to check them a minimum of every 12 hours. Solutions TAD left them for days until by chance I discovered and removed them.

TAD Solutions Ltd started closing off holes in the kitchen while the rats were still active thus blocking them under the floor with the risk of them dying and leaving a stench while they rotted.

When I spoke to them they told me that their protocol is to only close the holes once the rat problem had been sorted. Yet, they were going against their own protocol.

They weren't even good at proofing the holes because the rats chewed through their proofing.

Also, they didn't even notice that there was a great big hole behind the fridge which is where the rats were coming in.

I was so fed up with the rat situation that I put down tracking dust to see where they were going. This is very basic and TAD Solutions Ltd failed to do anything other than put down a trap or two.

It was through the tracking dust that the hole behind the fridge became evident.

I am not a pest controller but it was me who ultimately sorted the problem by telling the landlord to remove his ceiling downstairs as he was refurbishing his whole flat. This solved the problem

Stay away!

Sadly, the condition of the flat downstairs has resulted in rat infestations for over 3 months now.

The owner is a nightmare to deal with and has been slow to do anything to resolve the issue.

I called Bovers in and they have been amazing. They have gone above and beyond to do everything possible to assist.

Unfortunately, the owner of the downstairs flat decided to bring in their own pest control company which are beyond diabolical. As he pays the pest control bill, I have no influence over the company he chooses, and I was devastated to not have a Bovers representative on the case.

As opposed to this other company, they do not come around, place a few traps, then leave then return a week later to check on things. This has really made me appreciate just how amazing and professional Bovers are.

Having had the opportunity to learn so much from them about rats and their behaviour, I am in awe of their knowledge.

The team has been available 24/7 and has responded immediately to deal with any rats caught! They have been removing rats everywhere!

Tony and his son George are a pleasure to have around and they have really helped relieve some of the stress from this ongoing situation. They have been kind in giving me free advice and helping me deal with the owner downstairs and the awful pest control company he has insisted on using.

Never mind Ghost Busters, Bovers really are Rat Busters. I highly recommend them should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of having a pest invasion.

I had this company come in to fix my reception because the picture was pixelated.

This is what happened:

1. I was told by the engineer that it was a 5G problem.
2. He put in an amplifier that costs £25 on Amazon and charged me £175. He said that it came with a 10 year guarantee!
3. I have since found out that a filter is needed if that is the case, not an amplifier. I Googled this while he was here and showed him a filter for £8.99 on Amazon and he told me it was rubbish and that he had removed 100's of them as they didn't work.
4. He did not bother to go on to the roof and even check the aerial.
5. He told me with his "diagnostic machine" that I was getting a 15% signal.
6. He didn't even bother going on to my roof to check out the aerial or the cabling.
7. He told me that the reason that the rest of the street was getting reception was because of their masts were higher and newer and cost in the region of £300. He told me that he could put in an aerial for £325 but what he was offering me was a cheaper option.
8. He removed the socket that the aerial is plugged into and told me that one gets a much better reception if the cable from the outside skips the socket and comes directly into the property. He then proceeded to connect the socket to the cable with insulation tape.
9. I asked him a number of times if what he was telling was correct and he told me that your company is a member of Trust Mark and that he was a professional and would not advise me incorrectly.
10. At the end of the job he asked me to leave him a review as he indicated that if there were cut backs in your company that it may stand him and the person he came with in good stead.
11. He told me that his name was Omar and the person who he was with was Jasmine.

Well, the above is his review.

This is what happened when the local TV company came in:
1. He plugged in his monitor and first evaluated the reception that I was getting by accessing my TV channels (Not done by TVaerials company)
2. His diagnostics showed I was getting 40% signal/reception. (45 is the minimum that one should get) I was standing next to him at the time. All other aspects of my TV were very good.
3. He went on to the roof and discovered that the cable was completely frayed and brought it down to show me that over a period of time the insulation on the cable had weathered and was brittle.
4. He put on a new bracket and rewired my TV.
It now plays perfectly. No amplifier and no rubbish about 5 G interference. No one else in this road has 5G interference and I am sure that my property is not the only one that is affected. My aerial is newer than theirs.
5. The aerials across the road are old analogue aerials which is why they are at that height. TVaerials told. As the UK is now digital it doesn't matter about the height of the aerial, an aerial will receive a signal without having to be raised to a height.
Aerials cost between £25 - £30
6. It is nonsense that the reception will be better if it bypasses the socket and there is no need (in fact potentially dangerous) to bypass the socket with insulation tape.
7. I was charge £150 for a bracket on my roof, new cabling and the replacement of the socket that your company removed.

As the Consumer Rights Act says that you can get your money back in 14 days, I called them and told them I wanted a refund which I received after a great deal more of lying and arguing with them. Having spoken to 4 different aerial companies who all told me the same thing, I was armed with an informative counter argument.

They wanted to charge me a "diagnostic" fee! I pointed out to them that they were falsely advertising as they say "no call out fee, free quotes."
Their argument is that they did the test, therefore the fee was owed to them.
How can one give a quote if one does not know what is wrong? Only by testing something (which was a lie anyway) can one assess the problem.
I was told that the free call out charge was only if they supplied hardware. If that was the case I questioned what the amplifier that they installed was. They stuck to their argument but I told them I was reporting them to the Advertising Standards Authority for false advertising.
I am waiting for my refund.
Know your consumer rights. Don't get ripped off.

If I could I'd give this company no stars or if there is such a thing, minus stars.

Okay, I get it, Coronavirus has placed a strain on companies and they are short-staffed etc.

BUT you've got to be really stupid to give people a number to contact if you want to change your delivery and there is no option to do so. Yes, you can track your delivery, but not change it.

It took me two hours to get through to a living human being to change my order and guess what... I waited in on the new specified day, no one arrived, but their system says they tried to deliver but no one was home!

Evidently, according to them, I don't exist in my own home.

Time to get through to someone else to get another delivery date took 2 hours AND the only way you can actually get to speak someone is via the complaints line, but it took some time with trial and error to figure that out. A complaints line to get through to delivery... go figure! A little absurd thinking. There is no option to speak to someone who is in the delivery section, no option of emailing either.

Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your time and being frustrated and raising your blood pressure. Want to have a heart attack? This is a sure way to have one.

Thankfully this company didn't do a build for me, but they did for my neighbours. What a nightmare it has been.

Said neighbours hired County Lofts to do their Permitted Development Rights huge loft conversion.

My Party Wall Agreement clearly stipulates that there is no access to my roof for their build.
Clause 3: That the works relating to the construction of the rear dormer cheeks do not fall under the jurisdiction of the wall etc. Act 1996, thus these works fall outside of remit of this Award. Where access to the adjoining owner's property is required to facilitate these works, express consent must first be obtained from the adjoining owner.

I informed County Lofts and several of their workers as well as put up a huge sign in my window (visible from the party wall) "You do not have permission to be on my roof."

Sadly my mother died and I had to attend her funeral in another country. I arrived back to see that County Lofts had been on my roof and that there was rubbish strewn all over it along with foot prints.

Again I informed them about trespassing.

I woke up two days ago to several men on my roof. I asked them to politely leave. I then pleaded with them. I then shouted at them. I then threatened them with the police. The replies I received were;
"Sorry, the boss told me to get on with it. Nothing to do with me. Not moving off."
"Call the police, they ain't gonna do nothing."
"Don't shout at me. I'm not shouting at you." Yet he didn't see anything wrong (like being rude) to continue measuring up with his tape and not getting off my roof.
"You're costing me a days work. Gotta finish up."
"You gonna have to accept that the work has got to be done. I'm not getting off your roof. Boss told me to just carry on."

I eventually spoke with Dan Ryan, the owner of County Lofts who informed me that my neighbour owed him loads of money and that he had to think of his children and Xmas and that he was not going to instruct his men to get off my roof. He also tried to "manipulate" the situation to being in my interests when he said that he needed to weatherproof the party wall because the workers were going off for Xmas and my property would be damaged by water getting in.

He had taken off the coping stones on 6 November and the party wall had been exposed to the elements for most of the much of that time. Suddenly they needed to be weatherproofed.

As I write this, there are several coping stones missing and the party wall is currently being exposed to the wind and the rain with nothing covering them.

My being angry at him blatantly ignoring my wishes and him allowing his workers to continue trespassing resulted in him telling me that I was a very bitter person.

After doing some legal research I informed Mr Ryan that I would be taking him to Small Claims Court for trespass to which he replied, "It's quite a sad affair that you are wanting to make such an issue in so many peoples lives who have young families especially at this time of year. It think it's very sad." "... and you want to try to affect my business and take food from (my child's) his mouth. How awful."

In conclusion; Mr Ryan does as he pleases when it is in his best interests. He flagrantly flouts the law and treats people with disrespect. He takes absolutely no responsibility for his own actions.

As a professional, you would expect him to do due diligence prior to taking on a job and ensure that he has access to other people's land if he needs it in order to do a job properly.

One would also expect much more professional behaviour from the owner of a company.

Furthermore, his workers observe no health and safety guidelines. They don't wear high visibility jackets at heights, nor do they wear hard hats, nor do they wear safety harnesses. Hoodies and sneakers are apparently okay for working at heights on slippery surfaces.

They also don't ensure that your property is safe as they don't take up the ladder on the ground floor which means that people can climb up onto the scaffolding and access your property as well as the neighbour's property via the roof. (He removed the ladder today after reading my review 23/12/2019).

This is my unhappy experience with County Lofts. The choice as to whether to use them or not is entirely up to you.

Tip for consumers:
They do loft conversions in and around London.

I have been afflicted with a rat infestation since 23 June 2021 (it is now 18 August 2021) at which time BTC who are the managing agent, owner and freeholder of the property below me were notified.

There are rats in my walls, ceiling, floor as well as rats running on my kitchen countertops and across my kitchen floor.

Pest control (who I had to call in) advised that the deck needed to be removed because it was rotting, a probable source of the infestation and also that the manhole needed to be inspected but as the deck covered the area it was impossible to do so. He also advised that there was a huge amount of the tenant's belongings piled everywhere on the deck and that it needed to be removed. He stated that this added to the problem with rats making their home in all the rubbish which took up the majority of the deck.

They were also notified that there was a blocked drain which was causing water to pool. It was filled with rat urine and rat faeces and was an ideal environment for rats to thrive.

BTC was notified multiple times but failed to do anything.

After four weeks they sent some builders to remove a few decking boards which constituted about five per cent of the entire deck and decided that there was no evidence of a manhole and thus left the deck intact. The drain also was not unblocked.

Repeated reports from pest control and texts and emails from myself fell on deaf ears and I was told that the hold up was liaising with the tenant who didn't have any place to store her belongings and that her needs needed to be taken into consideration.

It was advised that Thames Water be contacted for them to put in a non-returnable valve in the sewer system but Thames Water told me they would not do anything until the deck was lifted so that they could find the manhole.

After four weeks I contacted Barnet Environmental Affairs who in turn contacted BTC who were given two weeks to act. No action was taken after a week and desperate, I contacted them a second time. BTC was given another two weeks and still, nothing was done.

On the last day of the notice before being fined, BTC sent over their builders. This was eight weeks after first having been notified of the problem.

BTC wrote to me telling me that they were doing everything in their power to get the problem sorted and reiterated that they were liaising with the tenant and needed to work with her in an understanding manner.

Eight weeks later the deck started to be lifted and the drain was unblocked.

In the interim, my hot water pipe has been gnawed by rats and caused a leak. The rats have multiplied and their nocturnal activity keeps me up at night and I am exhausted.

Despite my many, many messages which eventually turned rude, nothing moved BTC to act all the while telling me to be patient and that they were doing everything they could.

The problem still persists and they have stuck to their stance of doing everything that they could have done under the circumstances. They also don't want to pay for the pest controller or the plumber.

I have given this review to BTC Lettings to change to reflect what they believe to be an accurate account of what has happened and they did not change anything. I was told that I am "spiteful" to post a review and that most of their reviews are positive. They believe that they have done nothing wrong so I fail to understand why they object to my posting a review as it reflects their actions which they believe to be reasonable.

My account was meant to close in March 2018. They continued to take money out of my account via direct debit. When I contacted them to receive a final bill I was passed from pillar to post, spent hours on the phone, was told that it was my current suppliers fault for not having notified them, was told that I would be called back and never was as well as a host of other excuses and lies.
Even when I told them that I knew how the system worked i. E. that changing suppliers is all done via a national data base and that all they had to do was look at the meter readings online, they continued to lie to me and told me it would take weeks, not minutes.
Thankfully, with persistence, I eventually got through to one person in customer services (after having spoken to 8 people in the billing department) who sorted it out within a few minutes.
It seems as though the billing department employees are poorly trained, most of them are adept liars and are obstructive when you try to speak to management or someone above them.
My advice would be to avoid this company because if something goes wrong, you are going to spend an awfully long time on the end of the phone trying to sort it out.

I have been getting emails from people with regard to taking action against VGmedispa as I took them to Small Claims Court to get my money back.

I have spoken to them at length and have told them that what they are doing is against the law and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I've also told them that it is unethical.

You will NEVER hear back from them, no matter how many letters or emails you write. However, it is important to write to them if you intend taking further action as it is proof that you have tried to resolve the issue and that you are being reasonable.

There are organisations that you can check to see if you have a case:

https://www.theretailombudsman.org.uk/ They may even take up the case on your behalf.

Consumer Direct ******* 04 05 06

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/contents/enacted - Consumer Rights Act 2015

You can also take them to Small Claims Court if you do have a claim and be sure to claim for your time and inconvenience too. You apply through Money Claims online and pay a £30 fee to take them to Small Claims Court. The Judge in these courts are very helpful and understanding knowing that you are a lay person and help you immensely during the procedure, so don't feel intimidated to do this. The link is:

https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome

VGmedispa bank on people giving up and not taking further action when they don't reply. This is how they get away with doing what they do.

Don't be a victim - taking action requires a little effort, but it's worth it.

Good luck.

Tip for consumers:
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR "NO REFUND" POLICY! By law if their treatment is not what they claim it to be, you are entitled to your money back. Also you are entitled to your money back within 14 days which is known as COOLING OFF PERIOD. By law they have to give you your money back. This is taken directly off the Citizen's Advice Site. This company is highly unethical and they are bullies.
