I sold my item and shipped it out right away. It was accepted by the buyer on December 8th. It is now December 21st and I have yet to be paid. I've contacted Vestiaire several times on a chat line and was met by a robot as they have no contact number. I eventually figured out that you have to type several times "I want to speak with a representative" before they connect you with a live person. Once I got the live person I realized after two days that they also respond with automated messages without getting the job done. On that 2nd day I really let it be known that the business was poor and I was very appalled. Once the representative noticed that I was very upset he texted asking me to hold on a minute while he checked into it. He then came back to the chat line with the message "it's done" "the payment has been processed." I checked my bank immediately while he was still on the chat line and there was no payment. When I told him there was no payment he then told me it would take 24hours. I told him to send me some form of confirmation of that and he responded with the same automated message I received two days prior instead of some form of confirmation. At that point I demanded to speak with someone or a manager via phone in which case I received a call from Australia and it was the person from the chat line. He then told me that I would receive payment in 24hours if the payment was processed through PayPal or 5-10 days if processed through a bank. He forgot that he mentioned via the chat line that I would receive payment in 24hours which was a complete lie because I did not have my PayPal listed as my form of payment I had my bank which means it would actually take an additional 5-10 days on top of the 13 that have already passed. When I told him this he could not offer anything to me besides apologies which really aren't enough at this point. They will likely respond to this review with an automated message in attempt to make themselves look better but save yourself the stress and just sell on Poshmark. I haven't had any issues with them and I've been rated with 5stars on that site. In fact I sold something on Poshmark days after I sold this item that I haven't gotten paid for on Vestiaire and I've already received payment on that sale days before having to go back and forward with robots and representatives that likely click one button that populates an automated message without actually getting the job done. This site is not worth it and they really should just shut themselves down. He ended the call with Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and it really came off as condescending because this is not a cheerful situation to be having to experience at this time. In my opinion this site is not worth selling items on.
