What a waste of time, mumsnet recommendation and actually a bunch of kids insulting each other.
Stay well clear as any "real" site would have a management who would get involved and stop these sort of childish antics and one up manship / womanship

Signed up to this site almost 6 months ago and home page gives you this message:

"Sorry, we've had to introduce a queuing system for new users whist our hardware is upgraded to cope with the demand. Hopefully this will be completed soon."

Still can't access, what a joke, even the people who recommended it to me from Kent where I used to live so we could stay in touch have now said don't bother! Grrrrrrr, what a waste of time!

I have had to close my account.
I left something on my doorstep to be collected by someone from Nextdoor, unfortunately due to their daft address policy, this item was 'stolen' by somebody who saw our conversation and even though i had Pm'd my address, they then got my road name and google searched me by name and came by and took the item.
I have tried kahuti.com BUT it is not a UK site, it is American and needs more members in my area, I am plugging away with it. I have also joined mystreetlink.co.uk which is a UK operated site set up by an ex Streetlifer and seems to be the closest to the old Streetlife we knew and loved

Frightening that they show your full address as standard and yet won't let you speak to colleagues 10 miles away?
Went to the American alternative (Kraphuti.com) and what a joke, in fighting, groups, cliques and owners who have stopped communicating so a total waste of time.
Trying mystreetlink.co.uk and will see what that brings.
Where is Streetlife when you need it?
