Incompetence and ignorance at a high level!
Be aware people.
Went there recently due to a sale on lenses.
I had my own standard frames and chose sunglass frames from them, had my eyes tested and paid for transition and multifocal lenses combined for my frames.
For the sunglasses I chose brown polarised and multifocal lenses combined.
I must say that I have never had multifocals before and was impressed with the marketing spin that was shown to me on their tablets.
I have attached a photo of the multifocals I chose, with the widest clear window view for the close up vision. The premium and standard appeared too narrow for me so I paid the extra money to ensure I had the best and widest field of view as shown in the photo.
The sunglasses arrived first and I noticed immediately that the left wasn't as clear as the right, and that the close up vision was nowhere near as wide as shown in the attached photo.
I have drawn on the photo exactly what I can see clearly, it is disappointing to say the least especially for the money I paid.
I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to get used to them.
Well the next day I called about the left lens not being as clear as the right and was booked in for a second eye test.
I was told that the left lens was in fact better than the right and that was that, " it will take some time to get used to them ".
I went to a different optometrist the following day and found my prescription in writing was correct but what was in the lenses themselves were different.( A report was written by this optometrist which I forwarded to management via email with my request to cancel this order)
I called Specsavers and attempted to speak with the owner Sachin but he would not return my calls and requests for a cancellation and refund via email were also ignored.
Very very unprofessional behaviour.
I have contacted Specsavers customer complaints late on Friday and will update this review as soon as this horrible experience is resolved.
