First off, I should have never ordered from this company in the first place. I didn't do my usual research, and made a mistake. I ordered the Tow Hook Covers for my sister's 2013 BMW Convertible (328i). The cost for two w/ shipping and handling was abour $53.00. Upon receiving them, I immediately noticed they were not the correct size. They were also poorly made Asain knock- offs, and the same part is on AMAZON for $12.00 each. I didn't even open the package, re- checked my order to make sure I ordered the correct part (which I did), and had to pay return shipping. When received back at the vendor, my total credit was $33.00! They removed 25% restocking fee FOR SENDING ME THE WRONG PART! And I had to pay return shipping which was about $9.00. So, all in all, I paid a total of $62.00 and received $33.00 BACK for a part THEY GOT WRONG! My net loss: $29.00! GO- PARTS profit: $20.00 plus the cost of the returned parts, which they will resell! Quite a racket- One can make a comfortable living just sending out wrong parts, deducting 25% upon return, and then resell the SAME PIECE AGAIN to another "sucker."!
DO NOT BUY HERE! THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF BETTER CHOICES!

Hello,

We are sorry that you are not happy. Unfortunately you ordered the incorrect item. The item you ordered is listed as fitting the sedan/wagon version of that BMW, but you have the convertible. Since the incorrect item was ordered, you would be responsible for the return shipping cost as is standard with all online purchases. No restocking fee was charged on your return. As the items that you ordered are what was sent, the original shipping cost is not refunded as is also standard with online purchases. Unfortunately we are not able to absorb the shipping costs for your mistake. If you would like help selecting the correct items in the future, please reach out to our customer support who will be able to assist you with avoiding ordering the incorrect item. Have a wonderful day.

Gearbest made an error in my order of R. C. plane and replacement parts. They shipped the replacement parts AHEAD of the plane. Everything was supposed to be on ONE tracking number. When I opened a case to inquire (a lengthy process in itself as it takes a few days to get a response (which is written in Ching-Lish and VERY hard to decipher), they finally admitted it was their error, the parts should NOT have been shipped separately, and it was a "computer error." When I inquired several days later why I still had not received a shipping notice regarding the main item (plane), the story changed to "sorry, item is backordered". I requested a cancellation and a return shipping label for the now useless $30.00 worth of replacement parts shipped by mistake. Gearbest told me that *I* had to pay return shipping to China for their mistake (at a cost to me of $25-$30.00, about the same value of the parts), which I said was unacceptable. I opened a PayPal dispute, they originally balked and offered only a "partial refund", which I rejected, THEN said, OK, keep the parts (their loss maybe about $10.00, not bad to keep a happy customer as a result of their error), and they will issue the full refund. I thanked them for that, then when I got the latest decision on the dispute from PayPal today, found out that Gearbest had closed the case, deleted all the correspondence related to the case on their Customer Service page, and denied the full refund.
Lesson learned- there are many issues ordering items from China-
1. Less then reputable companies such as GearBest, that play games such as this.
2. Since they are not governed by the consumer protections afforded to us in the U.S. and other modern Western countries, they can basically call the shots, and tough luck if you don't like it.
3. Unreliable shipping times that could take a week or two to months to deliver.
4. Inability to track orders through their third world shipping methods.
5. Communication problems since answers to questions are often incoherent or do not address the actual question/ problem.
6. Total crapshoot with poor quality control, missing items, or items damaged in shipping- then you have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to ship back and wait often months for replacements.
Lesson Learned: BUY through a reputable AMERICAN DISTRIBUTOR or brick and mortar- in many cases, it is still the same Chinese junk (but we don't have many alternatives, do we?) but customer service, turnaround times, and cost of "doing business" is substantially better. If I paid the extra $40.00 upfront through my local brick and mortar hobby store, for a similar plane, I would have been happily flying and enjoying my product for over a month by now! Instead I have to "eat" $30.00 worth of useless parts. AVOID!
