I've been battling with DPD since yesterday I was in and waiting on a delivery- I received an email saying I have missed my delivery and now I'm expected to travel nearly 10 miles to collect from a Homebase
Apparently my driver after failing to knock my door decided to ignore my clear delivery instructions that are both on my online account and on the physical door it's self. I don't drive and this Homebase is not easy to reach - the parcel required no signature now be aware apparently their new policy is they literally make the smallest effort to deliver then deliver somewhere else now correct me if I'm wrong they are paid to deliver to the home address! Apparently now they say there is nothing they can do I either get it by the 30th or loose it - I'm A. Unwell with a lifetime disability B. Not prepared to spent my own time and money to get my parcel

DPD just kept saying nothing can be done so clearly drivers are being told to speed things up and just dump items miles away from customers so they can capitalise on profit and get away with not actually doing their jobs - their policies are ridiculous and their attitude and customer service leave much to be desired! Shocking I'll be asking the sender to resolve this for me.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use DPD or if you are purchasing ask the sender seller not to use them

** Update **

I ended up being treated very well a manager took the time to take over my complaint not only did she listen to me - apologise she also reassured asked for more details she gave me a very nice goodwill gesture.

The situation was resolved and I have been using them as before without any problems

Today I had what I can only describe as they most frustrating and bizarre experience. Placed an order with Look Fantastic online - realised not sure how but the wrong address was selected for delivery- I tried to call them - being a Sunday I accepted they may not be working - so did the live online chat with a person called 'Terry' I explained what had happened and I needed to amend the delivery address to which I was told this was not possible - so I then said I'd have to cancel the order to which I was told I could not? As I could not cancel it using their unhelpful website I asked Terry to please either change the address or cancel the order as I don't live at the current delivery address- it was literally insane just days it was too late given it's a Sunday and the payment status is as showing as pending and the order was showing as only processing I asked over and over to cancel my order! I cannot believe this company can't amend a address especially if it's showing as only pending and only been placed - so long have a large order of Christmas gifts going to a house that's over three hours away from me with the company knowing full well it's the wrong address and I asked to cancel the order many times! I'm completely disgusted and dumbfounded

Tip for consumers:
Don’t expect any flexibility their customer services is non existing I was literally left begging to either change my address if they can’t to cancel an order they were fully aware will be delivered to a house 3 hours drive from me !!

These guys offer a great service from start to finish! Very happy with their website easy to navigate! Delivery is fast and efficient. When I did have an issue with a slightly faulty item - not the product itself just hard of the outer plastic container was missing they not only apologised but sent a replacement I was not expecting that Very rare you have a issue resolved so efficiently without a fight or a lot of time consuming quibbling

I've had a awful week or so now - I used them for years and overall you can get some great items as great prices - however Groupon for me have finally made sure I never order again- where they fail is when they make an error on delivering damaged or incorrect items - I now have three orders I'm simply want to return and get my money back on - they have sent the wrong plants, damaged plants and a damaged outdoor storage item- I've told them that
Firstly I cannot walk these to a post office - secondly I don't own a printer- I've said they need to arrange for these to be collected from here! I'm the customer who ordered in good faith they have not met my expectations! They are being really unhelpful and only offer under a third of what I've spent back and only as credits and also said how lucky I am they have offered this?! I am now considering taking this to trading standards! Please please do not make the same mistake I have! I have a battle ahead of me just to get my money back!
