My husband and I lost our furbaby (Kahoku) on Saturday 1/15/2022. However, we had purchased a few items from Chewy prior to his passing. The day after he passed, I received some of the items we ordered. I called Chewy and spoke to Adam (I'm sorry I can't be sure of his name I was a sad due to our situation and not thinking clearly) about possibly returning those items. He was sympathetic and patient he said it was ok and he made sure all our recent orders were credited back to our card and cancelled our auto shipments. Today 1/17/2022, my husband received a vase with flowers and a nice sympathy note from Chewy. Even though Kahoku is no longer with us, we will have another companion someday and because of their thoughtfulness and caring we will always be loyal customers.
