I recent had solar installed and these people gave me the loan. Before my first payment was even due I got several cold calls including a attempt to get me to switch my mortgage. While on the call for this I asked that they never call me again and was interrupted several times during the call until i finally asked that they stop doing that. Then they switched to a condescending tone and before speak (each time) asked permission to speak. Very unprofessional. They also had me for a time on a roto-dial system asking me to set up auotpay through them instead of through my bank. I hope that this has all been sorted out but i got so many calls from them over the several days that it left me wondering if I had a loan with some sort of high pressure sale company that I was going to be plagued with endless sales calls. We will see, I hope that yesterday this all got settled.
Further information, if you DO NOT sign up for the autopay via their website any payment you send in will NOT be reflected on you online account. The only way that it will is if they make a manual update to the online account which they do not do. Also and much more frustrating ( not that this alone is not very frustrating) you can make a payment every single day (not using the online autopay via LoanPal; sending it in on your own) and you will get exactly on updated balance per month. In other words you will not be able to log in daily or weekly and see that your payments have been received and credited and see what your new balance is each day. You are forced to wait till the end of the billing period and then you will get to see all the payments and the new updated balance. So in short, if you do not want to give them you bank information and control of it you will not get to see your payments as they are made.
