TV Tropes is one of my most frequented websites, and as you'd expect it's incredibly addicting and can indeed change your life forever.

The only problem… it can be very easy to get banned. The site's moderators are incredibly strict and try and make sure you agree to what they want, not what you want to see. They also never inform you of bans because they see it to be easier to ask why.

So, yes, TV Tropes is a good site, but it's best you don't create an account.

Even though the site's hay day has gone by and with the death of the Flash Player removing certain features, Homestar Runner is still an amazing site to watch some funny cartoons. They do have an online store, but just be careful of the high shipping costs if you're located outside the States.

The site is riddened with bugs, pop-up ads and malware. Sure enough the files aren't viruses, but can redirect to virus sites if you're not careful.
