For some reason twice now I have received my annual flyer with the $15 off coupons past the expiration date. I got the coupons today on November 15 and the coupon expired on November 13. Whoever is doing their marketing and sending these out should be fired for this! I can't ever use my coupons since they always send them so late they are already expired!

First of all, all of these huge influx of 5 star reviews is nobody other then tradesy thenselves trying to do extreme damage control to up their very poor rating on here! I advise anyone considering selling here to run the other way and never look back! I have written previous reviews about how awful their customer service is, how it takes a month + to get paid, how they force all returns back on sellers for any reason, how they more then doubled their commission in less then a year, etc. Etc. So I wont elaborate too much on those things, however their most recent scams are truly unacceptable and absolutely despicable! I pride myself on writing extremely detailed descriptions and uploading photos from every angle, every detail, to protect myself from scamming buyers, this means nothing to tradesy! They dont care if your images show a pristine new item, they will allow any buyer to return anything in absolutely any condition and force it back on you! I have been there for several years and EVERY SINGLE RETURN from this site I have received my item back severely damaged and destroyed, and tradesy forced me to take the item back every single time! Their advertisement of "we accept returns so you dont have to" is a blatant lie ans complete joke! They do not accept returns, and whats worse is they allow buyers to damage your items and then make you take it back that way, in the mean time stealing the funds from your account! My most recent experience (there have been several just like this one) a buyer bought a pair of brand new gym shoes from me, never worn, she askes for a huge discount and was worried they wouldnt fit (both red flags and I knew I was going to have a problem with her). So I lowered the price. Well the shoes must not have fit because she starts messaging me that they smell like "smoke". This is hilarious considering nobody in my house smokes and these were my 13 year old daughters shoes stored in the box in her closet. I didnt even bother replying to her, I immediately contacted tradesy and explained what was going on (everyone knows the old "it smells like smoke" is a last resort ditch effort excuse uses by buyers when theres nothing legitimate they can complain about). I told them I dont smoke and the shoes are new in box. This liar aka scammer also said the shoes had "yellowing" on them. Tradesy assures me they would protect me. Low and behold they find in favor of the buyer and force the shoes back on me for a "smoke smell" that wasnt disclosed. Umm it wasnt disclosed because there wasnt any! So I get the shoes back today, of course no yellowing as she lied about, however the box they sent them in was beat up and smashed and wide open and not even taped shut, totally unacceptable! What's worse is the shoes are ruined! Not only do they now reek of smoke (clearly from the buyer smoking around them) she shredded the laces, they are fuzzed up and ruined and snagged, she also spilled something all over them like food, they have dried crusty marks on them and intentional scrapes and scuffs, no longer resellable! Tradesy saw them and inspected them and saw that this damage did NOT match my photos or description, they also never mentioned any of this new damage to me because they are sneaky and were going to force this return on me no matter what! This is disgraceful and total fraud on their part, they essentially stole from me considering we cant resell the shoes damaged that we shipped brand new! Their excuse? The lamest thing I ever heard! They said since the buyer initiated a return in 24 hours she must be telling the truth, and she's never tried to scam anyone before. Are you effing kidding me? So it takes days to damage a pair of shoes? It takes seconds to do this! And there's a first time for everything! Their excuses are pathetic and unbelievable! This is not the first time they have given me the "24 hour" excuse. Apparently it takes several days to damage someones item. Just know you are never protected on tradesy, tradesy is pro tradesy and pro buyer and crap on their sellers. You have zero protection and their site is full of dishonest buyers because their return policy opens the door for the worst kind of buyers! They internationally damage sellers items because thats the only way they can get a cash refund. On top of all that they told me they no longer notify sellers id one of their items are being returned or why because some of their users got into arguments over the return, I bet they did! Because buyers are doing this crap to sellers left and right! So sellers arent even notified anymore when a buyer returns their item, we get to sit and wait and wonder and have no say so in the decision nor get to tell our side of the story! All this did was make it that much easier for buyers to rip off sellers! Tradesy clearly doesnt compare the sellers photos to the item, so they just take the buyers word for everything. Nice of them to make another negative policy change, yet again, and NOT notify their sellers! We just get all these great surprises constantly! Way to crap on your sellers even more! I didnt think they could do anything more then they already have to make selling there a nightmare, but they find any way to make things harder and harder for their sellers. So this scum bag ruined my item and got her money back and tradesy supported this and encourages this kind of behavior. I have sold over 1000 items on other sites and have never had this type of issue on any of those sites, only on tradesy! You would think paying 23% commission to these frauds and waiting a month + to get paid would at least buy you some protection from scammers, unfortunately it doesnt! I blame tradesy more then the scammer! Scammers will always scam, it was tradesys job to protect me as an honest seller and instead they went along with the scam! Once all my funds clear In deleting my account. At this point the negatives far outweigh the positives on this site. Who ever is running this business into the ground needs to be fired, like yesterday! Otherwise they arent going to have any sellers left. People are only going to put up with their shenanigans for so long before they leave too.

I would advise anyone considering opening an account here to stay as far away as possible! This honestly is the most crooked, unprofessional, joke of a business I have ever encountered in my 34 years of living! I rarely take the time to leave a review, but if I can save some people from dealing with what I went thru, then its worth my time! This company also needs to be exposed for the sham that they are! First let me start off by saying I was in love with this site when I first joined! I was hooked! Its a site where you "trade" your luxury brand clothes, shoes and accessories for other peoples luxury items, or the sites currency which is "haute points". I have been buying and selling for many years and have excelled on every site I have used. So this one was no different. I maintained a 5 star average my entire time there and ALL of the people I did business with were happy and left glowing reviews. Well a few months in things started to go awry. A couple times I received counterfeit merchandise in my trades (in exchange for my authentic items or my points I earned by sending my authentic items). This is a big no no so the site says. Its strictly against their policy (its also against the law). I had to reach out to customer support frequently because I had issues with usps, my fees weren't being refunded, people weren't shipping, fake items, etc. Everytime I got a reply from "customer support" (I hate even calling it that) it was the most rude and unhelpful replies. Their support is a joke! They are the rudest and most ignorant people I have ever dealt with! Never were my issues handled! Issues were skirted around, questions werent answered, they talk in circles, extremely unprofessional, beyond rude and downright insulting most of the time. Several times this "caroline" woman even blamed me for "trusting the wrong people" and basically Im S. O. l that I got a fake! Umm, what? How am I suppossed to know who is trustworthy on the site? Isn't that why theres guidelines and penalties for people who DONT follow the rules? Clearly not! After a transaction we leave a review, so after I got a fake I clearly went to leave a review to warn others about these scammers sending fakes, and guess what? I was blocked from leaving them a review! The option just was never there! When I brought this to the sites attention they said it was a "glitch", really, every single time it was a glitch? Funny it only happened when I wanted to leave a negative review about a person sending a fake! On top of that these con artists ripping people off taking authentic items and sending fakes still have accounts in good standing to this day! Nothing was ever done about them! They were never kicked off, I never was able to review them! Haute trader purposely blocked me from exposing these scammers! They are still on there scamming as we speak! This is the most unprofessional company, there arent even words! So a woman and myself decide to trade our Louis Vuitton bags. Same bag just different sizes. I had 14 images of my bag in natural lighting of every detail from all angles and a very detailed description. She had 2 images and no description. She gave me the run around for 5 days playing games. I should have trusted my instincts. So we do the trade. I receive her bag, and despite her guaranteeing me she would send me the dustbag (we discussed this in detail at least 3 times) she of course did not send a dustbag. On top of that the bag had alot of damage she didnt disclose, but I pick my battles so I just let it go and thanked her. I did need a bigger bag and I could live with the flaws. Its just Im the type of pereon who over describes my items so people know exactly what they are getting. So she receives my bag (with my dustbag that I would have kept had I known she lied and planned on keeping mine and hers). She starts complaining right away that the strap is a "darker shade" then she thought. Despite my clear 14 images I guess she didnt look at any of them! The whole situation was a joke. She went on and on about the shade of the handle (which was exactly as pictured). So since she complained about this she costed me my points for this trade, she left me a bad review I didnt deserve and opened up a claim against me. Haute trader assured me that I would NOT be forced to trade back since I did not misrepresent the bag in any way. This went on for days! I actually got a message from haute trader telling me I was an outstanding member if their community and they were going to make me a VIP member. The very next day I leave this annoying person a 1 star review since she was a nightmare to deal with from start to finish. Almost immediately after I left her an honest 1 star review, Im locked out of my account! I figure this must be a glitch or a mistake! Its not a mistake! They kicked me off the site! They actually tried persuading me to trade back with this whiner, and I said absolutely not! I passed up several other trades, she played games for 5 days and costed me additional fees, she costed me to lose 400 points by complaining, shes been a nightmare and left me a 1 star review I didnt deserve and ruined my perfect feedback, just off of principle now I would not trade back with her! Had she approached the situation differently I would have considered it, but not now! Clearly this idiot has special favor with the company because as soom as I refused to trade back (my right, their policy states I dont have to if I didnt misrepresent) and left her a low review, I was kicked off the site! During my course here, I have seen fakes listed as geuine and traded, I have seen the site block honest people from leaving these scammers honest reviews, the site protects the scammers, and penalizes the honest people, its run by incompetent, rude, insulting people, they dont follow their own rules and pick and chose who has to and who doesnt, if you get stuck with a fake thats your problem!, if you speak up they will ban you, they are dishonest and there is some very questionable and illlegal activity going on, they favor certain people and protect the liars, they removed the one star review I left this person so now other people wont know the type of person they are dealing with!, they will talk in circles and blame you for their mess ups; all in all Im happy to be gone. I am very upset about one thing. I had points in my account when they suspended me. Which means I sent someone a $900 dress of mine in exchange for points, I never got to spend those points, so essentially they stole a $900 dress from me! Thru this whole process I maintained an impeccable account. Since I have left reviews on 2 sites now, this woman from their company has replied calling me a scammer. I asked her to please prove exactly how Im a scammer! I guess her blowing hot air and empty insults is her way of trying to defend all of her many dishonest actions. I have never, ever, dealt with anyone more rude, dishonest, scheming, full of crap, conniving, deceitful, etc. Who uses a seemingly "legit" website to conduct illegal activity. I personally think these "accounts" trading fakes belong to the site, passing off cheap replicas in exchange for peoples authentic items. Karmas is a B!+(* though so eventually this is all going to catch up with them. I sincerely hope I have helped at least one person avoid going thru losing their property and the headache of all this.

We tried to resolve your dispute in the fairest way possible. With regard to your account - You were suspended due your failure to ship your traded item back to C*****. She provided us with solid proof and we acted swiftly on this information.

If you feel that we responded in haste, we sincerely apologize to you. I ask that you submit any documentation or proof that you shipped your item to C***** and we will be happy to reinstate your account. Again, I apologize for your negative experience with HT and I hope that we can resolve this issue in an amicable way. I wish you nothing but the best.
