I'm genuinely so sad to be writing this review, as I have always loved get that trend and have been buying from them for years.

However, my recent experience had been terrible.

I place an order on the 5th November. Two days after planting my order, I received a message telling me one item was out of stock. I asked for the same item in a different colour to be sent instead. I received no further communication from them until I contacted them asking had my order been dispatched. I received a futile "sorry our customer service team must have missed your message."

After that, things got progressively worse. I was very disappointed with the quality of the majority of the clothes, and decided to return the majority of the order. My return was worth almost €100.

I sent my order back on the 11th of November. I retained my receipt as proof of postage. Over a week went by and I received no confirmation that my return had been received, which I found unusual based on past experience with get that trend. I contacted them, asking them politely to please let me know if my return had been received. I sent a picture of my receipt (proof of postage).

However, I was told that they had no way of checking if they had received my return. I waited another week to email again with the same query, this time stressing that my return was worth a lot and I was anxious to know if it had been received.

This time, I received excuses that they were working with minimal staff, and were taking longer than usual to process returns. I was fine with this, I was in no rush, I simply wanted confirmation that my return had been received. However, I was told again that they could not check this- which seems odd. They said because I had no tracking number there was nothing they could do, even though I had the receipt.

I contacted them again, over 3 weeks after returning my order. This time they actually bothered to check (or said they did anyway) and informed me that my return had not been received. Again they were absolutely no help and told me to contact on post.

So, I did contact on post and they launched an investigation. Low and behold, yesterday, almost a full month after I returned the order, I received a refund for the items I returned. As this was almost an entire month after I posted the items, it is highly unlikely that it had only just arrived. The most likely scenario here is that an post traced the parcel back to them and contacted them about it- so they had my parcel all along yet were refusing to refund me for it!

Overall the whole experience was really awful. Between telling me my item was out of stock after allowing me to purchase it, and then ignoring my reply which delayed the despatch of my order; to telling me they couldn't check if my return had been received and then telling me it hadn't when it clearly had- although it took an investigation from an post to clarify this! And I waited a month on the refund!

I have always loved get that trend and have recommended them far and wide. However, I will never ever ever be purchasing from them again as a result of this terrible experience.

I would highly recommend that you avoid shopping here! Vavavoom.ie sell many of the same items- often at a cheaper price! I have also never had any issues with their customer service, nor have they ever taken a month to refund me.
