- This site has a reliable built-in code editor for its certification tab, however, it has some lacking code testing and some hints can be incredibly frustrating to understand
- The site allows the user to work ahead, which is beneficial for those who understand a part of the task already, but it is effortless to get lost when doing so, especially since the site does not preserve the code like how the user leaves it.
- Having a live way to learn is amazing, but I sadly saw myself turning to external resources more often to educate myself on a specific element just due to how the tooltips can sometimes gloss over vital pieces of information. This can be extremely irritating such as not directly teaching what a tag represents or what siblings a tag can have.
- Deviation from the path is only approved of within certification tasks, so those who learn through experimentation are far more likely to discard the courses simply because it may be too irritating.
- Commenting has no value since it gets removed, so users pretty much have to keep a notepad on hand if they choose to follow the entire course rather than just complete the certification tasks.
- Using the find tool to locate a specific line is a slog, so touching up a line that fails the task can take more time than required.
- (just a grievance with the HTML certification) It prefers that users use RGBA over hex to handle using colors. I do understand that it is easier to handle 0-255, but it takes longer to copy/paste that data from a color wheel than just to use a hex code like #00ddff

Tip for consumers:
It is a good place to start, but it is recommended to branch out and challenge yourself with something new and come up with your own unique methods rather than imitate the stylings of whoever wrote the course you are taking.

It has been a few years of me using this platform already, I am now in my senior year for High School, I still regret using this site to further my academic progress. Every year I use this platform, I fall behind. The courses I must use are poorly created. It is just an absolute mess.

I find myself distracting myself from the long and boring lectures quite often, I am given several assignments which require me to write out long essays or heavy-duty assignments that require me to use tools that are far too unreliable to use now. I am unable to simply refresh myself on vital information without playing through the whole damn instruction segment, plus I have no optional practice exercises to ensure that I have adequately refreshed myself on the information.

I find myself having better luck learning information for these courses from external sources rather than the platform. Also, do not get me started on how the Imagine Learning acquisition screwed up the platform even more. I recently had issues logging into my account and their support team was garbage and I had better luck just contacting my school's IT department to change my password than handle the change.

Tip for consumers:
Educators and students alike, please hear my pleas, don't cheap out with this platform. It will harm your academic integrity, don't trust the reviews they leave on their site, know that they were likely manufactured.

I am a student that has been using the program for half the school year and I am taking psychology, it's videos are long, especially compared to the other stuff even though is also too long, especially with the tests and quizzes, I got kicked from my exam due to a site malfunction and I have to do an extra exam during the summer because of the bug. I just wish the site content re-iterates content in stuff other than how to write a paragraph. This program should only be meant for elementary school people, not high-schoolers. I miss my school's old program known as Odyssey.

Tip for consumers:
Please, if your school plans to use that program, to get them to NOT use it, it is too primitive and too passive for education, tell them to just pay more so people can actually learn instead of being dulled out, I have no life (legit and digital) because of this

(Review is based on features from the launcher, NOT specifically the website) The platform is one of the best non-DRM services out there, and I can get my hands on games that I would otherwise be required to commit a crime to obtain (most notably titles that predate the platform itself). It also provides one of the most intuitive ways to access mods online, saving me from hell trying to enjoy every last moment of my games.
The only really annoying bit I have experienced is the sheer amount of times I have to log into my account on the website, making the task of purchasing games and nabbing free games on the go, or simply just trying to replace my profile picture incredibly infuriating with 2FA.

Tip for consumers:
Definitely a good spot if you are looking into entering the indie scene or want to buy your first game, there's a lot available and devs often give away games

It has been 1 year since I last reviewed the site. It still is amazing me with how much worse it can get. I have opted to abandon my account long ago after dreamup came in.
I cannot trust the platform to host my content when it neglects to offer legitimate safeguards to my content as an artist. I even tested it with one of my pieces protected by their 'DeviantArt Protect' services with a buddy and it cannot even do the job of informing a user when their content is being stolen.
Logging in makes me see a cesspool of NSFW content, even though I set my account up to not show it, including blocking AI-generated content, but it does nothing.
I know it is a heavily beaten horse, but holy $#*!, why must all the NSFW content involve minors?! If you want examples, there's written accounts of these things in various other reviews for this website.

One horse I am surprised that has not received much of a beating however was the curation of the home feed. Let me sum it up for you: 20% people using DA as imgur, 20% NSFW, 25% poor-quality content, 10% ads, 15% stolen art, 5% good art, and 5% that bounces between everything else. The image host and poor-quality crowd also take up a decent chunk of the NSFW media crowd on here too btw.

In my previous review I mentioned that most content is paywalled, and yes, it still is. The AI tools want core (their subscription service), making money off your work requires core (Adopts, premium content, subscriptions, and I won't be surprised if they come for coms too.) Want stats? Too bad, the valuable stuff costs you some dough (and it also takes forever to check). Most of the profile customization requires Core, and it is far more limiting than the custom HTML of the old days.

Tip for consumers:
Don't, just, dont.

Unlike a lot of the people here, I kinda have not used the site before the Eclipse beta, and have been using it since then, but here's the pros and cons with the site:
Pro - Art is quick and easy to look at.
Con - Specific kinds of art is a bit of a hassle, specifically with pixel art.
Con - Stolen art and poor memes make navigation a bit more difficult, as I have to block tons of people just to avoid it.
Pro - Art is quick and easy to upload.
Con - Features like delaying art and multi-uploads require a subscription to use, which makes no sense.
Con - Stats are difficult to look at and big ones are premium only.
Con - NSFW content is easier to find than SFW content, I am not even a legal adult yet and this stuff is just wrong, and sometimes this stuff is not even marked NSFW.
BIG Con - Mobile accessibility is worse than PC, the app can't load journals and sometimes has issues loading my pixel art, the mobile browser version also runs horribly, if I do not have a decent connection, my phone could crash from the app or browser.

Whenever I need to quickly post an image link to somebody, this site is quite useful! I have been using it for years for both professional and academic purposes and I have had no issues with it. My favorite part is that I can paste a short link for somebody to just copy/paste.

The site is a bot-riddled wasteland full of them posting links to pirated content, it is honestly a surprise that the FBI has not shut the place down. Nobody can get their questions answered and the few actual humans that remain there are heavily toxic individuals. Keep back from this place AT ALL COSTS!

Tip for consumers:
Keep away, the place is too dangerous to use safely.

The site is good but only when you can enter, I have to use a proxy service to get it to work and still it does not work, so go here if you can get it to work in the first 20 tries.

After numerous (and I mean NUMEROUS) DMCAs and other copy strikes of games, the site has plunged into the abyss of horrible content quality. Events are no longer existent, everything in the market is paywalled, every good game is locked behind a Robux fee. This is not even mentioning the account theft that is now rampant.

Tip for consumers:
The game sucks now, try to find a better game for your kid to play.

Good for younger audiences

When you play, they have Some good games but they dont really cater to older audiences that play same with the fact that there is no free obtainable currency that is legal on their site, I wish they brought back Tix so we could play the site without having to spend any actual money.

The website finally updated the flagship title but, the game runs horribly, even on the lowest of settings. Also, the content quality of levels has SIGNIFICANTLY dropped, making it so the most popular levels in-game being ones that seem like a 4-yo made them. I would not recommend playing this even after 2 years from my last review.

Tip for consumers:
The game sucks now, it is not worth playing it anymore. Try to find something better to play or just go outside.

This site does not hold a good spot in the game industry as it has 2 poorly written games and only 1 is easy enough to play (Happy Wheels) but somehow the place is getting too boring and I think it needs some new content as soon as the site creator can.

This site is good for pixel artists that want to get a beginning in digital art, I just would not recommend using it fully professionally, only because it cant support sprite sizes greater than 512x512 without lagging a bunch.

Use this if you want to get a good start with pixel art!

This site provides (probably) one of the best ways to stream in a large, more interactive way than other sites. (such as YT) Plus, thanks to the application I can actually have an easier way to enhance my gaming experience without having to worry about certain mod installations (namely Minecraft).

  • DiscordApp

10/23/18

This website (and/or the Application) is one of the good chat services that of which provides more than just fun by chatting, you can use bots to enhance your experience for a much easier price. (Other than TeamSpeak) So, what I'm basically saying is this is actually one of the best services to use for chatting.

This place is not good for drive-through/entering the restaurant, the employees are jerks, they ruin your orders, heck, they even cuss at you when you try to tell them that they made an error, they really need to just retrain the employees to be much kinder to the person ordering.
