This company aka as Curtis International refused to repair or replace my 18 month old TV that simply died. Several repair shops in my area (a suburb of Montreal) told me that this RCA Scenium 55" TV is "not fixable" and that they see this model of TV come into their shops all the time, all with the same issue, most of them dying shortly after 1 year, the length of the manufacturers warranty. 1 repair man even called it deliberate built-in obsolescence! DO NOT BUY THIS TV, YOU WILL END UP WITH A USELESS BLACK BOX AND THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!
Tip for consumers:
Curtis International has no respect for its customers. They are dismissive and just keep saying "365 day warranty" they sell TV's that only last 1.5 years and simply don't care.
