It was our first and last stay at a Radisson hotel. The staff working the reception desk were far from welcoming. After checking in, on the way to our room, the halls smelled like cat urine. I thought maybe it was just musty since the pool was just down the hall. After getting into the room we had to call the desk and have the room cleaned as there was hair in the bed sheets, trash in the furniture drawers, the toilet was soiled, and the remote and phone were sticky. We left for dinner and the room was cleaned. The next morning we left for the day and put the " Do Not Disturb" sign on the door as we did not want maid service. When we returned, a maid had been in the room, disregarding the door sign. If that was not bad enough, they emptied the two wastebaskets and replaced the hand towels and wash clothes but not the bath towels nor did they change the bed linens or make the beds.
The room had ceiling material drooping from surface, mold spots in the bath grout and chunks of plaster missing in one of the walls. While getting ice from the machine, I had to listen to several of the maids discuss how they weren't going to F***n clean this and F***n clean that. The proximity to RIT is not worth staying at this hotel. The hallway smelled the whole time.
