I bought internet from GOTW3 and first off -- the equipment is very expensive (and non-refundable). It was $400. They shipped it to the wrong address. That time, it was my fault. I called and corrected the address and they shipped my replacement SIM to the old wrong address. But more on that later.

It worked well for exactly two months and on October 1, it suddenly stopped working. Remove the SIM card, reset this, check those settings, etc. They sent another SIM, but it came apart -- IN THE ROUTER -- and I had to ship it to their offices in TX. They reset it with another SIM card and did not even bother to put the lid on it (there is a snap on cover for the SIM). Whatever.

Same thing, second verse, in that it worked again for around two months and then stopped. This time they had sent out an email that they were discontinuing 3G service. Fortunately, they were able to fix the problem remotely by deleting one of my APNs.

The upload speed is very bad, sometimes only around 100 KB/s. This means you might not even be able to upload a simple photo of higher quality without timeouts. I wrote this because I had to power off my router just now because my download speed was too slow. It seems I have to power off my router EVERY DAY NOW.

Internet with this company has been a constant struggle. I have to upload zip files sometimes multiple times because it gets reset. When I email support at GOTW3, they ask me the same questions ad nauseum 1) What kind of router, 2) what SIM card number... AS IF THEY DIDN'T PUT THE SIM IN THEMSELVES AND SHIP THE ROUTER THEMSELVES.

What I am saying is that they do not use a CRM at all. I cannot remove the SIM because the last time I did that it came apart. It is a card within a card, within a card, and if you do not handle it properly, it will come apart and you will be screwed. I feel terrible for people at this company, who are by and large good people. It is obvious that the problem is with their leadership. Everyone I talked to on the phone was a fantastic person and more, but the leadership will not fix any of their problems.

Tip for consumers:
Non-refundable equipment
Unstable service
Greedy CEO

After trusting Kayak, I bought a ticket from Kiwi.com. What a terrible experience it's been, and my flight is three months away! After this vacation, I will neither use Kiwi.com or Kayak.com ever again.

I know Kayak is a search engine, but they should vet their vendors. The reason I say that Kiwi is a scam is that you buy a "basic package" that does not include email support, and they hang up on you when you call their phone support. I only wish I were joking. A British phone bot comes on and says, "Enter your booking number now" and when I key it in she says, "There has been an error. Please call again later."

I called three times. In my book, this is a scam. The reason I was trying to call is that today the coronavirus has shown up in the country of my destination.
