Bottom line, up front:

A company that feels they need to bully customers into leaving favorable reviews needs to take a look at themselves and question why. They are clearly more concerned with their online reviews than they are about treating their customers with respect, which speaks volumes about their corporate culture.

My story:

I ordered a single AN fitting from Racetronix as it was an odd size and was not readily available after a quick search of the typical parts suppliers.

The fitting cost $12 and the shipping was an additional $14. Little steep if you ask me for a part that's smaller than my thumb. As stated, this was a hard to find part so I bit the bullet and paid the shipping cost. Immediately upon placing my order I was asked to leave a review. You can see my 3-star review left by Jason H. On 10/27/21 here: https://www.shopperapproved.com/reviews/racetronix.biz/. Excuse the typos as I left the review from my phone and was in a rush. You get the jist of the review though.

The next morning I receive an email from Racetronix stating they need to speak to me on the phone before my order can ship. Odd, but ok. The customer service rep was calling to say his manager wanted me to retract my review and/or amend it and if that was not possible to leave an additional Google review with 5 stars to help offset my 3-star review. The gentleman explained Racetronix was located in Canada and that their shipping costs were due to their location relative to me (Virginia). Seemed nice enough so I offered to retract my feedback if they would tell me how to go about doing that. Without my asking, the customer service rep said he was going to send the part UPS Air so I would have it in 1 day versus 2. Nice enough.

I received the part today and it appears to be a nice quality fitting. In the box was my invoice which you will find attached as a picture below. ** This site will not allow me to post a photo so I will type what was typed on my invoice: "Call customer and explain we are in Canada. If he refuses to retract feedback cancel and refund order. He can buy on Amazon."

I wanted to pass this review on to anyone considering buying from Racetronix. A company that feels they need to bully customers into leaving favorable reviews needs to take a look at themselves and question why. They are clearly more concerned with their online reviews than they are about treating their customers with respect, which speaks volumes about their corporate culture. I'll never give them another dime of my money and will take my business elsewhere in the future. I encourage others to do the same.
