I would have given this business five stars except for one sneaky, dirty little trick.
Direct TV/ATT was actually great! From 6 years ago up until about 6 months ago, when I moved. This is May, 2022. I am seeing some good companies change, are you? Boy did they want to move with me! Man, what do they give their phone agents to make them so tenacious? They would have driven a load over if I'd said yes! In the beginning they came over and set a dish on top of the flat roof of the apartment complex and held it down with some big bricks. The property management company didn't want any holes or anything being dug so no pole and no bracket or brace even though there were probably 25 to 30 satellites adhered that way to the building from tenants long ago. They do not clean up their own satellite junk ever when people move. In my opinion that possesses the demeanor and countenance of a trashy, low class company. I was shocked and sickened a little when they themselves told me, (not up front but when I was done). But that wasn't my intended point today, I just started remembering it just now. Moving on with the review. The channels were always clear and connected, the remote was fast and tactile-you didn't need lights on to operate it. There was always a huge variety of great stories, series and movies on. I'm a TV addict but picky and I never ran out of entertainment. There was a way to skip over all the channels that you weren't interested in and only browse through yours. There was great music 24/7 with no commercials. I hooked up my Bose to the TV and listened to a couple songs in the afternoon once in a while. My next door neighbor, bless his soul, had small bursts of blowing the roof off too. The tenants weren't sure who to rat out. Some of them would look at us questioningly when we passed in the hall but we both managed straight faces that never evinced either's defiance in decibels. LOL It was great when folks popped in. A little jazz and dinner. Light a candle, touch a button and start dancecooking. Nothing quicker, Nothing easier; nothing to ponder. The service was
Inexpensive, uninterrupted and instant. Everything you could ever want in TV viewing right at your fingertips. The system makes sense and it's easy to navigate. I could DVR five shows on different channels

Simultaneously at $40 a month. The price slowly raised over time but it took a while. At least a year before I saw any increase. Then there was a certain phone call I made that got the bill back down again. I think it was the
Good person I got on the phone when I demanded a manager. They'd sooner hang up on you now than get a manager. Is it grounds for firing or something? I said something about them breaking the law and that got my bill right back down again for a while. So you might try that. Here's the main thing though; if you're going to move, shut off your auto pay card to them with your bank. Oh yeah! They keep the party with your money going even after your screen's gone dark. They call it "prorated". Verizon drops that word too when you leave. And BTW when they say they're going to give you a free phone, believe me, you're paying for it over the months. What a surprise when I began the process of quitting Verizon and closing my account-I had a gigantic balance on the "free" phone to pay off! Gosh I would really hate to work for a company that expects you to lie. What is our cost of survival? Oh nothing just my base character, who I am as a person. Anyway I digress, Now I know better. I share so what happened to me doesn't happen to you. Love and light. We must rise above. A lotus from the darkness.

WooHoo!
Artpal!
This is great!
I thought.
What a great opportunity!
I can make sales for free!
I'll put all my paintings out there for people to see and Artpal will be a pal and do nice prints and framing and pricing and shipping for me!
So easy!
And
FREE!

But.

I don't ever think anybody's ever seen anything ever that I've ever put on Artpal ever.

You have to shower your paintings in dollar bills like a gentleman's club if you want each painting to actually ever crawl around on the stage for 4 minutes and get seen by 10 to 20 people sitting in a dark corner at lunch hour that may not may not be interested.

And.

There was this one painting in particular that I knew my daughter liked alot. I thought ooh yes I can enlarge it and gift her with it on a nice thick canvas.

So.

I tried to use the service I'd spent so many hours photographing my art for, to send a canvas print to my daughter in San Francisco for Christmas last year, 2021. This will be nice to see how the other end works, I thought. What's it like to be the customer of Artpal? The art buyer!

Anyway.

I guess the address got autochanged somehow or something on the order at the last milasecond before I pressed send or something? I did notice the program trying to rearrange what I'd typed and having to go back in and retype it once, but, I thought I'd caught and corrected it already and

The next thing you know.
I noticed the sending address was all funky in tracking immediately and I paused everything to help out, let them know and e mail them right away that I knew that order wasn't going anywhere. Nobody in shipping caught that there was a PO Box AND an apt. #? Maybe shipping's not their thing. So the guy I emailed was just having a bad life, I guess, because he was more accusatory and venomous than one bad day creates in a person. He was unwilling to send it to the correct address and said it would be at a post office somewhere. Well, THAT never happened so I wonder where it ever ended up after almost a year? I have emailed them many many times and they have never responded since the initial response.

So finally.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau recently, (I really just wanted to resolve it with Artpal) and they tried contacting Artpal twice and couldn't get them either. That's it for the BBB. Case closed. The print and shipping costs were expensive though and I still want her to have it and I wanted her to send pics so I could see what the quality looked like and get her opinion if she was happy with it or not and check out the whole operation and everything and and I never got to see anything and I never got my money back and, well, I'm mad about it.

I am curious, though.

Has anyone else had any kind of interaction with Artpal? Artist, buyer, voyeur other,

Lawyer?

Actually.

Has anybody ever even HEARD of Artpal? Ever?
