6th week in a row I've had issues with them not being able to deliver in a 3 or 4 hour window! This week I was going out so even added the instruction I would not be home outside the selected window and the still rocked up late and started calling because there was no one home? This is meant to save me time and consistently I'm on the phone or online chat, requesting call back from customer service that never happen. (I did receive 1 call after the 3rd delivery and they said they'd raised the issue with logistics and would ensure it didn't continue happening) 3 more deliveries late out of 3. Have requested a full refund of the prepaid delivery fees for the year I've paid and was told no. Will be contacting consumer affairs from here.

Initially tried to contact rivers as I hadn't received any dispatch notification or tracking. Just got automated responses saying they will contact within 24-48 hours. No contact. Follow up again, no contact. Pm in Facebook, no contact. Comment on a Facebook post, a copied message saying to pm them. After zero contact to any of my attempts, the order arrived. They'd sent me the wrong product. Should be simple right? Most companies would send you a return label. Not rivers, I've emailed including photos of the robot vacuum I ordered, and the incorrect one they sent me is ncluding a photo from their site showing they'd sent a cheaper advertised product. Still nothing, I commented on Facebook, they say please pm us, I put in a PayPal claim, they have still not responded to that. I decided to persist on the phone after waiting on hold and being cut off on multiple occasions, and get through to someone and they tell me they will send me a link to fill out, I fill it out, no response from rivers, I call again, they need a photo of the bar code, I send it, no response from rivers, I call again, they still haven't authorised the return! They are a nightmare! Am about to contact the accc, hopefully between them and PayPal I can get it sorted out because rivers clearly have no intention of fixing anything!
Photos of the white pet vac I ordered and the black standard model they sent advertised cheaper, but also has very poor reviews.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t shop with rivers if your expectation is to receive service.

I'm unsure why my previous 1 star review was removed from this site? So I'll try again. I ordered from good American and paid for express shipping to Australia (apparently 5 days), I made contact a few days after ordering as I hadn't received a shipping notification. Received a response saying I should get notification soon. Over the next couple of weeks I tried on a number of occasions to contact them with most of them ignored but one more response saying I should get a notification soon. I asked them to cancel my order and refund which they ignored. I asked them a second time to refund and I was putting in a PayPal claim and THEN they sent my order! I received 4 weeks after I originally ordered and they still had the nerve to charge me for express shipping! Never again!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t expect any service once they have your money

Have kept the jeans still in the bag. Not worth sending back because the shipping cost is so high.

I paid extra for express shipping to receive my order last week. I checked with Australia post as it's been sitting an hour up the road for nearly a week and they said it wasn't marked express! I contacted Asos, provided them with the screen shots from Australia post, they didn't follow up, and won't provide a refund on the express shipping I never got! Just told me to be patient and wait. That's exactly what I paid extra NOT to do! Have put in a paypal claim for the entire order, it's no good to me now. So annoyed and zero assistance from asos.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure you use paypal if you must order, at least I know I'll get my refund

Worst online shopping experience ever! IF orders turn up at all, they often can't be filled and you don't find out till they're already well past their claim of 7-21 days delivery. They recently changed that wording to "from end of sale" but after being lied to on several occasions I did take a screen shot on my phone of the terms. Lucky, cos when someone from ozsale FINALLY called me about my orders after literally dozens of attempted contacts I was told I was mistaken about the delivery terms and should re read them. I did and they had been changed to suit they're current story. This was after being told I couldn't cancel my order as it had left from the US, then 2 weeks later from Singapore, then 2 days later that after checking their warehouse, they couldn't fill all of the order! Didn't even try to check their stories matched! Suffice to say I've had to call the accc now to get the refunds they owe me and hopefully won't have to think about them again!
