HostBig is certainly affordable, and their tech support is response if hosting issues occur. However, tech support is reactive, not pro-active, which means that potential calamitous issues (wordpress database corruptions, hacker intrusions, etc) were only found after I reported - and had to keep insisting - about website issues. This, overall, resulted in unacceptably poor website performace. The final straw was global rejection of our emails because the server that we were parked on was associated with malicious websites. Affordable, yes. Tech support is trying to keep up but seem understaffed. In the end, what you get is what you pay for.
