I don't have an eye for design, and therefore I'm not very good with creating something that is visually appealing. There are too many colors involved, and proper spacing arrangements, and things to worry about like which font to use that make the whole process of creating a website difficult. I find that many programs that you can use to create a website are difficult to master. Not to mention, if you're like me, you might just be creating a very simple website and you don't need all of the bells and whistles that come with high end programs.
That's why I like Easy WebContent. It's an online based site builder with easy to use tools and a simple layout. It's great for anyone just starting out with web design or anyone who needs a cheap DIY builder. It doesn't surge over your head with infinite options, instead it offers a few design features that can customized to your needs.
I personally like the drag and drop system. You can select anything from a text box to a flash player widget and drag its icon to the desired location on your page and there it is. That makes keeping things in order so much easier, especially when it comes to keeping those spacing problems in mind.
I would recommend this site builder for the newcomer to web design. This is a great tool to use, especially if you intend to learn more and continue expanding your web presence.
