Tea Drops puzzled me when I first encountered them, a marketing gimmick aimed at eliminating the waste of teabags. They individually package each drop in its own wrapper, using the mantra that the envelope is recyclable. How is this an improvement over loose tea leaves, easily composted or thrown in the garden? Then I noticed their teas were sweetened (eventually they introduced a few unsweetened teas at customer request), making new teacomers think that tea has to have added sugar. So much for a healthy drink! Now Tea Drops has added insult to injury by adding new flavors with dangerous fake sweeteners such as Erythritol, and questionable chemical additives. Take a look at Thai Coconut Jelly Tea: Yellow #6, high-fructose syrup, potassium sorbate, polyglycerol, silicon resin, propylene glycol. Their Boba pearls are similarly riddled with additives. Natural Boba tapioca pearls are readily available. This company is giving the tea industry a bad reputation. Let's return to real tea leaves and as for teabags, just recycle and compost the parts. There is plenty of great organic tea out there without this unhealthy and environmentally questionable option.

Such a shame this co. Does not walk the talk. They carry many environmentally friendly items, but at least in my case, each of my 5 items ordered so far is arriving one at a time, each in its own oversize carton from the same city, Youngstown OH, with mounds of unnecessary wrapping paper. Companies need to tell you upfront so you can manage your order to be more efficient. As with Amazon, I recommend finding the supplier and ordering directly when possible.

I wouldn't have ordered if I wasn't going to use them, but I have not yet used them.

The July Yokohama box is noticeably different from recent collections, and pleasantly so. The usual jellies (pear & grape) and dorayaki, but also intricate biscuits, a delicious orange cake and unusual Seagull Almonds. I liked that there were only two salty snacks. As always, you want more of your favorites, so small tastes can be frustrating. The accompanying booklet is a great souvenir, as is the lovely little plate.

Great & interesting products, fast delivery, but OMG Hive does not follow the environmental awareness practices that it preaches all over its website, My small order, nothing fragile or breakable, was packed in a carton twice the size needed AND then stuffed in every nook and cranny with 42, yes 42, pieces of brown paper void fill - 25 on top of items + 17 pieces at bottom of carton. I was told this is packing for breakables & warehouse messed up. But until the company changes its ways, I will look for these products elsewhere. Consumers need to speak with their $$$ and not support companies that say one thing, then do another.

Just got delivery, but of course I will use everything. I bought this! What a crazy Q.

While Sakuraco no longer delivers from Tokyo at lightning speed, more like 2 weeks, it is definitely worth the wait. You get approx. 20 savory & sweet snacks and tea + a decorative or homeware item. Also a very detailed booklet with company and product histories and photos. Note due to lost in translation, we are never told that multi-month subscriptions for some reason do not allow you to skip a month. I learned that the hard way. So the small savings comes with a buyer beware.

I always use everything, of course.

So glad Chuck Williams, WS founder, cannot see his company now. I just received 2 food items three (3) months after ordering! I learned that website doesn't tell you when items are backordered! This is a terrible policy. During the 3 months, not one word from the company. Delivery date was moved forward a week or so innumerable times. I would have waited had I known items were not in stock. So post-pandemic I will shop only in person.

Excellent. One item appeared back in stock though email hasn't yet arrived. Too bad, competing offers force you to choose.

Reason I chose this business:

To order soy wrappers & preserved kemons

Reason I chose this product:

Delicious, not so easy to find locally
