THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW:

In February of 2019 I purchased 2 records from a seller on Discogs who advertised them as both playing great. Once I got the records I couldn't even get through the first track on side 1 and 2 of one of the records because it had so many skips and jumps. The mistake I made was for the first time in my life I used a credit card for paying opposed to my usual 16 years of using PayPal. ( I believe PayPal would have paid for the return shipping.)

It's been very, very stressful for me since I first let Discogs know of this situation. There's absolutely no backing whatsoever from Discogs and they fully side with the seller. In other words a seller can advertise whatever they want, lie about it and when you, the buyer purchase an item based on what you have read from the seller's description you get something that's complete crap. Then you become a victim and the seller is praised for their lies.

Sure, the seller said he would refund the records once he received them, but I why should I have to pay for shipping them back.

I fully disagree with this! I've purchased something with the understanding that I'm going to get what I've read in the description. If that is very incorrect, I don't see why I should be responsible for paying for shipping on something that was advertised very falsely to begin with.

I got nowhere with Discogs on this matter and even the Attorney General's of Oregon tried and got nowhere as well.

In August of 2021 I paid for a Donna Summer acetate from a seller on Discogs. It ended up that the seller 'didn't even have' this item to begin with and wasted my time. I left appropriate negative feedback, without using any any rude or cuss words.

I've noticed that Discogs removed my negative from his feedback forum but his negative feedback for me is allowed to stay on my feedback forum; yet I've done nothing wrong and he's the one that falsely advertised something that he didn't even have.

Why people trust Discogs is beyond me.

Tip for consumers:
Just be cautious, that unlike Ebay (who treat their loyal customers like dirt by the way), at least you can get a prepaid shipping label to return a falsely advertised item, which you can't do with Discogs. Discogs, from my experience has absolutely no time for the buyer, you're simply on your own.

I've been on this website for probably 18 years or so. I enjoyed it at first but I've noticed over the last couple of years if you put a comment on a product for example to try and help other people out they won't put your words on the website under comments.

Then at times when you do put the comment down they change the wording.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW

This company is absolutely useless.
For those of you unfamiliar with this distillery, one of their brands is Black Velvet whiskey.

I've drank this brand for many years and I submitted online, two $5 rebates for Black Velvet whiskey on 12-2-20.

It said, 6 to 8 weeks for the rebate to be processed. "We are now on week THIRTEEN!"

As of this review, a complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau and also the Attorney General's office of Kentucky.

I emailed this company on 2-17-21 and Beth responded, stating that with 'extradited shipping' they will be sending me $20 back.

Absolutely no updates, no tracking number, no email and no phone call back since then. Maybe this company doesn't understand what expedited shipping means?

I always thought it meant that something would be shipped faster to you. As of this review '15 days have now passed since Beth's so called extradited shipping.'

On the morning of 2-23-21, I said in an email and a also a voicemail that I'd be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office.

It goes to show you how much they care about their customers when they can't be bothered to get a rebate back in time, cannot be bothered to message you back, and they cannot be bothered to respond to a Better Business Bureau complaint that was filed on 2-11-21.

I've still not seen one single penny of my rebate that was submitted on 12-2-20!

What a way to run a company, absolutely disgusting, avoid all costs!

UPDATE:

In earlly September of 2021 the Attorney General's office wrote back to me saying this company had never once bothered or attempted to respond to my complaint via the Attorney General's office.

Need any more be said about this awful company.

If there's one thing that bothers me about Kohl's its something that they are not the only ones doing these days.

You'll get an email saying that your item has been shipped. No it hasn't!. A great example of this is I got an email on Saturday August 8th, 2020 saying my item has been shipped. It is now the morning of Tuesday August 11th and it's still a 'pre-shipment item.'

This item hasn't even left the warehouse yet so don't lie to the customer. Simply inform the customer that a shipping label has been created simple as that.

As I can't leave a second review for the same company my updated issue is as follows. Today is Wednesday 7--28-21

In my opinion, Kohls has gone way downhill over the years.

It didn't used to be much of an issue to get a free shipping code to the store or to your home. I'd missed the free shipping code by 55 hours so they flatly refused to give this to me on the phone.

Another option was for me to drive 30 miles round trip, waste a gallon of gas and use my phone in their store to get free shipping!

The 3rd option was for me to pay the shipping fee up front then I've got a call back in 48 hours and they'd remove the shipping fee. After that I'd have to wait 7 days for the refund to go back onto my card. To me this is like inventing the square wheel and sticking to it. Why not wave the shipping fee to begin with and avoid all of the above aggravation?

The other thing that annoyed me, the message when you call Kohls, is about going to their website and clicking on the 'Ask us.' After typing out a long message all I get is some virtual piece of garbage that says 'Enjoy your shopping' or something to that effect.

I'd have expected a live human being not a thing that's going to respond to you with zero help to a problem.

I can't say I'm too impressed with this company anymore.

I've expressed everything that I had to say above.
