About Me

We simply want what we ordered. What was advertised. A little care and magic would easily turn us into repeat customers. A free sample would transform us completely into loyal lifetime customers.

How I Can Help

I recommend using Paypal's offer to pay for your return shipping. Here is the link. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns Know this ~ paypal can do more. Ask to speak to a supervisor. Tell them about the Chinese scam and that the only way this will stop is if they protect us. Since they don't refuse to do business with these people. Then they need to pay for the return in full. If you can speak to someone like Michele who has been at Paypal for more than 5 years that is the way to go.

Interests

Incense, perfume, handmade soap, clothes made well, that feel good next the skin, washable fabrics

The site offers some excellent brands. But half of my order was not in stock. I purchased almost 400 dollars worth of camisoles because of a coupon offer. I realized after checkout that they had not honored and I wrote to them and they blamed it on paypal. We all know that is ridiculous. They could have honored the coupon at the point but didn't even offer.

Hello Jessica - We apologize for your experience. Your order was very unique. We shipped you the in stock items same day and the balance of your order arrived in less than 3 weeks. You chose to check out with PayPal instead of through our check out where the discount box is. I hope this answers your question.

Kind Regards,

BEWARE this company advertises 1 flat fee. But the next thing you know your account is being charged without authorization $34.99 a month. Read below there claim that other companies will charge UNFORESEEN charges. BUT that's what they did to me. When you try to call the phone number on your credit card you get an outgoing message that hangs up on you. You would think a company that does "legal" work would act legally. But this is not the case. I was forced to cancel my credit card to stop the charges. I decide to divorce my husband at least once every four years and find it very cathartic to go online and order paperwork. So this isn't the first time I've done this and with other companies. They are the only folks who kept charging me.

Tip for consumers:
Beware it isn't a flat fee as advertised.

Unfortunately we figure out how good things are when they are tested. I bought a pair of pants from Cuyana who I've been reading about for awhile. They did not fit me, but the quality of the fabric was very good feeling soft against the skin. Plus the pants were washable! Elastic waist for Thanksgiving. So the question became would I be able to return easily? I wrote to them and got an e-mail back immediately with a phone number. A lovely person by the name of Araceli answered. I wasn't quite as prepared as I should have been but she was so kind. The returns are free and I was immediately sent a return label. That's service folks. I am off to buy some other pants I was eyeballing. This might be the beginning of a very long relationship, quality and service. Deep sigh..

If you are new to Farfetch you might buy from them not knowing that they don't sell anything. They are a platform or intermediary. And for that as a service you might expect that handling luxury items that there service would be high quality. They advertise returns within 14 days. I bought a Gucci wallet that came from Saudi Arabia. The company name and details was all fine print. I would have liked to have seen reviews on the company. Any details would have been appreciated. Instead what I got in the mail was terrible. A wallet that was sealed on one side and didn't fully open. A satin pouch stained with a GUCCI label but a tag that said made in CHINA. When I immediately returned the item I was only met with haggling. I had to open a case with Paypal. When the Farfetch send an e-mail saying they received the wallet and would sent a refund or credit there was no refund and as I had explicitly asked for. I do not recommend FARFETCH. They do not take refunds as advertised. Go to payment source immediately and return item. They will as I said above attempt to give you a credit. You will have to police the refund. Sorry but they are a time consuming mistake you won't make again.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from them. Do your due diligence of the actual seller you are buying from.

I have purchase from them twice. Excellent packaging and customer service. As they say best to reach them through e-mail if you have issues. But I happened to call. And they called back twice when they couldn't reach me the first time. I recommend if you are outside of the 48 states and you are buying perishables that you order PRIORITY FEDEX. Not the regular ground FEDEX. Order on a Monday. They really care and are approachable. If you anything even goes wrong with FEDEX, Murray's will warrant. They have the most delicious offering if you are really in the mood to get something you can't find locally. Love the cheeses and the olives. OMG if I lived next door to them it would be so dangerous. This is a business that cares and wants you to be happy. A plus plus. If you see my other reviews you know I don't pull punches.

This is the name of the scam company behind all the websites that ripping you and me off. Here is a list of just some of the website.

CHIC V follows this certain protocol ~

New website using a different name everyday. Here are just a few of the websites ~
Fastchics. Comevaskiss. Comfizaza. Compopjulia. Commostata. Comlorencona. Comjustfashion. Comnoracora. Comstylewe. Comwotoba. Compoplucy. Compopkeep. Comrikkishop. Comsandkini. Compopzora. Comfashionnana. Comadorenana. Comunfadememory. Comgoodsgreats. Comfillezone. Comchiclila. Combelletaka. Comchiceternal. Comlofairy. Comhelochic. Complusizebra. Comfairyume. Comlovetomore. Comjustfashionnow. Comcoramoda. Comlukkiy. Comellafancy. Combackvin. Com

When you go to check paypal for example, to see information about the website you bought from you won't see that website name that you thought you were doing business with. It is all CHICV. They take pictures from reputable websites and cut off the heads of models. Cropping them out and slightly altering the photo they use these pictures as inspiration for the actual trash they send you. They make the cheapest knock off not even an attempt to make a good fake. They use different fabrics. They don't sew seams or even send the right sizes. You will notice if you order more than one item, they always back order and split the order. They understand how expensive return shipping is. They also know paypal policies of return and want to start the process of tiring you out. They will offer a percentage off for you to keep the order. I recommend using paypal's offer to pay for return shipping for up to 30 dollars. Ask paypal to give you help on this one Chinese scam company. Ask them this one time for relief. Tell them who these people are. That paypal shouldn't be doing business with known scammers. It really does depend on who you speak to and that you articulate the situation carefully. If you reverse search the images on their website you will see who they are stealing from. SUNDANCE catalog. Sweater magazines where they steal from home crafters that are just sharing what they made. Don't let them get away with it. They are winning right now.

As soon as I opened the box I knew the order was trouble. It wasn't packed properly too much space and emptiness. 2 candles shattered glass everywhere. The pumpkin pie candle was just nasty and smelled like old cheap fragrance oil. Strangely mealy. Like a butter fragrance gone bad. Mostly all the candles smelled cheap and not true scents. Only 2 decent items out of almost 20 that I bought. The lotions sucked. The body washes. Just all cheap fragrances. I don't know how they stay in business. I should have just returned the entire package as it was. That is what the order deserved. I couldn't believe with all the five star reviews of their products on their website how bad the scents were. For example one that is called THE STARS. They mixed wood with a candy scent. You can't buy samples either. They suck but they aren't a scam site, so I can't give them 1 star.

ANNIE CLOTH

It's so casual and personal. Like the pictures of the clothes. So honest. A dove necklace. A cuddly sweater. BUT NOOOOO. It's a CHINESE SCAM COMPANY. They even have fake reviews. Refuse the package before it gets to you. Call your credit card company. Use paypal return shipping free offer. Because it's all a confidence game.

The real name of this company is CHICV think CHIC with roman numeral V. ChicV International Holding Company is behind all of the Chinese scam websites. Most Chinese people are honest. I recommend for cheap but fun clothes ALIEXPRESS. Read the reviews. If you don't get what you ordered they actually give you a refund. No return. They want your business. For example a ball for your dog that you buy on Amazon you can get direct for half that prices. Now back to the CHIC V - here are just some of the company names they use as shills or business fronts -

Fastchics. Comevaskiss. Comfizaza. Compopjulia. Commostata. Comlorencona. Comjustfashion. Comnoracora. Comstylewe. Comwotoba. Compoplucy. Compopkeep. Comrikkishop. Comsandkini. Compopzora. How many businesses these days actually have a model? EVERLANE does! Of course I am a customer of honesty who wouldn't be? This is their motto -

"Exceptional quality. Ethical factories. Radical Transparency."

I have found for classic basic clothes EVERLANE is the place to go. The problem is shipping takes forever. I ordered gifts for friends easily 10 days before a birthday. Still hasn't arrived. I'm embarrassed. When I went to see if it ever delivered I found the cashmere sweater I ordered for myself where you supposedly get to choose how much you pay - CANCELLED. Nice to know. I didn't cancel it. Nobody wrote to me or mentioned it. When you go to call them. Guess what NO PHONE. I guess that is honesty and ethics? Transparent business practices is phone service.

All of my early enthusiasm has deflated. I will be adding them to spam in e-mails. They will reach me like I can reach them.

EVERLANE falls short in the business of customer service. All awful is returning. Free shipping is not free shipping if I have to make a phone call and go through a hassle to return an item. No more sending gifts of Everlane either if they can't make a simple exchange or return.

They make for example a RE-CASHMERE sweater. LOVE the idea. But the reason I wear cashmere is that softness and when I got it? For me it was too scratchy. So now it is in a pile of to do's. They could have simply added a return label, but they don't. Hugely disappointed. I have to call them and print a label who knows what it will cost. I will get back to you...

Follow up - EVERLANE sent the cashmere sweater they had canceled. Very nice thick quality, what I wanted.

There are a proliferation of scam Chinese companies. Each day a new website with the same pictures of tempting clothing that you will never get. There are some excellent articles out there. I recommend of course that you read my other reviews on SITEJABBER for actual tips.

This might interest you as well -

https://qz.com/655849/welcome-to-the-wonderful-world-of-chinese-online-shopping-heres-how-to-not-get-ripped-off/

We all need to band together an lobby paypal not to do business with these companies. They rely on paypal rules. This is my best recommendation. Return the items, paypal has an offer right now where they will pay for your return YES all the way to CHINA.

Here is a link. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns
It might be only 30 dollars but that will help.

There are about 10-20 new Chinese websites. It is a SCAM and you should be careful. They use pictures off of real clothing fashion websites and then send you almost anything. Size they pretty much ignore. Color, fabric. Do reverse searches when you can of the images to actually buy what you are looking for. If you do want to try for some crazy reason buying clothes from China, buy from AliExpress. You at least can get your money back and if you are careful about sizes you have more of chance of actually getting what you ordered.

I was an early adopter of this software. I've been a customer for over a decade easily. Suddenly my license and extension stopped working today in my browser. I didn't do any upgrades. Now if I want to use the same browser I have to update to a membership. 3 dollars a month. WHAT A RIP OFF. I don't need this to work with my phone. I just need a basic program that remembers a few passwords. These people say they have 5 star reviews on Trust Pilot. You cannot trust that. Even 36 dollars for 2 years is steep for remember just a handful of log-ins. But for 1 year? No way. I can't even log-in to 1 password website after buying their software for some 12 years. That is how many issues I've had with them and how they complicate everything. Don't get started with them unless you have money to burn.

Hi J P!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a very first review of 1Password on SiteJabber.

I understand that you are using the new version of Safari (version 13) that was recently updated by Apple. Unfortunately, the older version of 1Password is not compatible with the new Safari browser. 1Password 6 was first released in January 2016 and we have updated this version for several years. 1Password 6 is still working with other browsers but it is not possible for us to go back and update it to support the recently released Safari.

We have always changed for 1Password because it is the only way for us to keep developing the product and keep supporting our customers. I strongly believe that the value our customers get from using 1Password exceeds its cost. This is the main reason behind the thousands of positive reviews of 1Password everywhere. At the same time, I understand that the cost could be a sensitive issue for some of our customers and I encourage you to email our support and let us know about your personal situation. We will do our best to help, we love our long time customers like yourself!

The smartest people in the room used to work at Paypal. They picked up the phone and got you in and out. I loved them. I would tell them all the time you people are a dream. Now everything takes ages. The last time I said anything like that was over 5 years ago. The phones have become a bottleneck of repetitive interactions with recording and press this or press that. Let's say you open a case. You write everything out carefully. You supply a tracking number of your return. Everything should theoretically be handled right?

NO even though the return you made shows it was delivered. All very clearly typed out twice even, it can't be possible but it is happening that you are YET being asked AGAIN to supply a tracking number you already supplied OR ELSE. Now you have to go find the receipt because the seller is dishonest and won't admit they already got the merchandise over a 10 days ago. So you hunt down the receipt. You have to set up the scanner to scan the receipt that gives the information you already provided. You scan the receipt and now it asks you to type in the tracking number and upload the receipt. So you type in AGAIN the tracking number. Then you add the receipt to an upload cue but it won't let you upload. So you try again and again. Now five times later you take a picture so you can prove when they deny your claim that not only had you returned the merchandise that you attempted to upload the receipt that is just a duplicate of the information they already have.

Here's a real tip speak to someone who has been at paypal for more than 5 years. Speak to a supervisor. They do have power. They can handle things right away. It all has to do with who you speak to. Seriously. If you hit the jack pot and MICHELLE answers the phone, she will handle everything immediately she will even give you money for return shipping. She can do that. What a difference that makes. Paypal needs to rethink there changes and REPEAL.

They make tons of money off of us but they don't provide helpful accounting for year end. For example if you have to pay for something in Euros they won't tell you how much the exchange rate was or how much they charged you. You have to go in and try to reverse engineer it to report your taxes honestly. They don't want you to know how much exactly they are taking and they are NOT making enough evidently to actually do the work to inform you. Shouldn't there be an accounting of my fees?

Worse is you open up a case with a clear scammer. AND they won't protect you. Better to do business with a credit card company.

A dear dear friend, a person who treated me with such tender kindness when I was going thru a hard time in high school was very ill and had two surgeries. I wanted to get her something elegant she could plant in her garden. I needed to do it fast because frankly I was afraid she might not survive the operations. I looked for a local florist who specialized in orchids. I thought you can't screw up orchids. They can't put babies breath with that. I don't love it but it looked like a decent ceramic bonsai vessel and simple white orchids with just a blush of pink. They sent a basket of purple and yellow I am so upset I could cry. This was so important to me and this is worse than what I can buy at SAVON. I will never buy flowers again online and simply trust the company. I should have read the online reviews first without getting an actual photo sent to me before delivery. I'm calling my credit card company.

AND NOW I CAN'T STOP the e-mail spam. It's relentless. Blocking reporting nothing works.

Everyday a new website. Too bad they don't put this much effort into their clothes. Read my review of Noracora. https://www.noracora.com SAME PEEPS. Or Homegaden. My recommendation if you want to buy inexpensive Chinese clothes directly is buy from ALEXIPRESS. Do a search for sweaters or whatever you want. At least their is a modicum of protection if you can prove that the item is different from what is advertised. Another tip all the stuff on AMAZON that is plastic? Buy on ALEXIPRESS for 5 times less. You just have to wait longer. For example I bought a dog toy on Amazon for almost 10 dollars it is made in China. If I buy it direct I can get it for 1 dollar. If you are absolutely stuck on the idea of gamble buying you are better off doing it thru Alexipress. Watch the size charts.

On the right you see what you might actually get. If you get anything in the right size or color. Sundance sells the one on the left. WISH actually takes the picture off their website and cuts the head cut off. Strangely both pictures are on the WISH website. You are better off buying from one of the shops on Aliexpress. If you are looking for inexpensive clothes made in China at least they have a refund system. WISH will make you wish you didn't fall for their tempting pictures. Same as the folks at HOMEGARDEN and friends.

I own a crazy number of Natori 2 piece pajama sets AND not for sleeping. I wear them for lounging, entertaining, gardening, to the beach, shopping, studying. Comfort is everything and I'm a bit of a homebody. So you might wonder why the 3 star rating? The fabrics are pretty damn good and washable. Nice against the skin, the polyester and the rayon hold up well, but it's everything else. The first 5 PJ tops all had the broken buttons. I don't know if they were machine sewn believe me I complained to NATORI why am I always changing buttons on new PJ's? The button holes, the mechanisms just are not functional. I kept wondering how they passed inspection to even get fabricated? Dumb tassels on the draw string pants that came off immediately in the wash.

The mentality of this company is perplexing. They should be able to do pajamas in their sleep. They have their own factory in Taiwan so they shouldn't have these kinds of issues. I imagine an addiction to complication. Even pajama making ~ their bread and butter, if we can just stick to that for a moment. Instead of one line they have 3 that I know of. The JOSIE is the cheapest, arguably to appeal to college students like me. The last two PJ's I bought were from JOSIE and they sucked. Cute fabric, at least the picture was. In person cheap, thin, a crusty metallic surprise one had gold the other silver (not visible in pictures), which would have been fine if they had at the very least fabricated it right. The sizing was completely off. The arms were too narrow not balanced with the chest size. The pants split after one wear. Seriously? I expect their sizes first of all to be uniform across the board. They aren't! JOSIE sizes are smaller which is fine but this is what I mean about Natori making everything more complicated. Then they have their regular NATORI line, which they sell directly and thru different departments stores. The Natori line after how many years in business should have quality pajamas that last. Sometimes it makes sense to buy from the Natori site directly, but only when there is a sale because their shipping prices are not generous. Then they have a third tier available which is 5 times the price of the regular line. Why they don't just stick to making quality and charging a fair price whatever it is I don't understand. The JOSIE pieces I might as well just trash. I don't know why I hold on to them. It seems unfair to pass them on to someone else on Ebay. Big boob and stick arms anyone? Will rip soon. So yeah I'm annoyed because they should have ironed this stuff out. Some of the flowery polyester pieces are just lazy looks for the elderly. Bring on the dragons where is the passion sometimes it just feels like they don't care. This predictable overall unevenness. My recommendation is to make sure you can return. Try it on, try the buttons. Check the size chart. I recommend the underwear, if you haven't tried their cotton BLISS, great quality they have a bit of lace and look sexy even after washing. Don't be put off by the polyester or rayon fabrics of their pjs and caftans, etc, they wash well and breathe in a way that silk doesn't. It was my mistake not to return the last two JOSIE pj pairs I bought immediately. Be prepared to do that. You are doing them a favor, in the long run, by not accepting less than mediocre garments. They can do way better. When they are good they are very very good. Read the reviews, be wary of sales. Buy on sale. Return.

Home Depot will send you in the mail a variety of tempting offers. For example USE THIS COUPON to get 10 percent off on your next order! Sounds good but really it's good for them. First of all even if you have excellent credit their interest rate is the worst over 25 percent. That coupon is only good if you charge on their punitively priced credit card.

This is the type of business practice that keeps poor people poor. NO Social conscious. We need to stop this kind of behavior. This is unacceptable.

The small print tells the story, that the discount is only good good on one item, not your shopping cart that day, and there is a ceiling you can't get more than a 200 dollar discount.

One of the tricks they use so that you can't get that full 200 dollar discount is when they issue you a credit card and HONEY it doesn't matter how good your credit is they give you a paltry limit of a 1000 dollars. Guess who else does that for the same reason? AMAZON credit card. This is the worst chicanery. I recommend you all cancel your Home Depot credit cards. What is the point of paying so much interest?

When I went to purchase a high ticket item and handed them the 10 percent off coupon, they used the coupon but miraculously my order was canceled. NO more coupon. It was spent. So when I went to reorder it was a nightmare. The Home Depot store agent said she would handle it herself not to worry. She would wait a few weeks speak to her manager and input the discount. Never happened.

The only time it pays to use the Home Depot card is when they have the 6 month offer. But you must read small print and make sure you pay it off before the 6 months is up. Make sure you don't buy anything else on that card. Make sure they raise your credit limit to a reasonable ceiling. They are in bed with Citibank. If you have a Citibank card or any other card you might go down the list with them of all the interest rates you have that are probably 7 percent less. Tell them your line of credit and you remind them of your glowing credit score.

I am surprised this is legal. I will be doing more research into this and I will hopefully have an update.

Homegaden is the same internet shop as Elegichic.com. They hide their address and are another China based scam site, sadly. Whoever designed the website has a great eye. Images are selected from around the internet and posted to their website. See pictures below. Here is an example of one blouse they offer taken directly from the Sundance Catalog. Notice the horsey girl look. The entire website is their inspiration board. Evidently they take those pictures to their manufacturers and say just make as cheap as you can.

It is so much easier to do business honestly I don't understand this mentality. These are bright and capable people but they use all of their ability and time to steal.

The sweaters are luscious and collected from some of the finest knitting magazines. Rowan Magazine, black bunny fibers see that picture below is one of the sweaters for sale on both Homegarden and Elegichic. Not really for sale sorry. See Rowan magazine. Drool worthy. http://www.blackbunnyfibers.com/preview-rowan-magazine-54/

Here is a great tip if it looks too good to be true, do a reverse search image. Super easy. Drag a copy of the picture to your desktop, google reverse search image. Usually you just drag your picture back to the google window. This search will show you the origin of the item you are looking at. All of the other places that pictures has been posted. Find out who made it first. That way you might even be able to buy the real thing!

Another sign of a rip off website besides there being no return address is the models. Their heads are cut off. You might see a little chin, but another huge warning is the headless model. I hope the pictures attached are self evident. If not feel free to write me.
