I had a year contracted membership with Six Flags. At the end of the term, I tried to cancel my service through their portal. Instead, I kept receiving messages that I was now on a month-to-month plan and it would not allow me to move further. I thought maybe it was my internet service so I continued to try to cancel 4 more times. Frustrated I tried to find a phone number to speak with someone. I only got voicemails. Then I sent a message to them. I never heard back. I decided to cancel my credit card to avoid another payment being charged. Once the card was declined suddenly I started receiving emails. I called the number on the email and explained everything to the rep. I was told that a supervisor would contact me. Imelda|, Six Flags Corporate Guest Relations Supervisor contacted me and said that they received my message and sent an email but I never replied. If I wanted to cancel I would need to pay them another month. I never received an email but if the process is to cancel through the portal why do you need to confirm through an email anyway. Since she received the cancelation request why wouldn't she honor it? I feel that they purposely make it extremely difficult to cancel. I will never go there again. I advise everyone not to sign up for their membership. They won't honor their part of the deal.
