We recently purchased $5,000 worth of RTA White Shaker Elite cabinets. On delivery there were no signs of outer damage. Unfortunately when we started to assemble a couple a weeks after delivery, we were super disappointed regards the quality. Three cabinets had warped boxes which made assembly almost impossible (and frustrating). Two cabinets were scratched on the face side. Two other cabinets were scratched and marked on the sides that show. One cabinet was missing a vital installation slot altogether. Two wall cabinets have completely different finishes/shelves inside. Each base cabinet also a slightly different color interior finish. One 84" utility cabinet is marked up and damaged on the inside and outside. Two 'decorative' end pieces are both a 1/4" wider than the actual frame and while this might work okay for a base cabinet, it doesn't work for a wall cabinet (since it has to be installed flush to the wall). Would have been great if this was pointed out (anywhere) on their web site. We are handy folk and with a lot of time, ingenuity and various power tools (and touch up paint), managed to fix or hide most of the various manufacturing/quality faults and eventually get the cabinets assembled. On this project, we had planned to move forward with purchasing kitchen and bathroom(s) cabinetry from Lily Ann, but are blown away and super disappointed by how poor their QC and Customer Service is. We purchased from them based on all the positive reviews (posted on their web site) and now can't believe they are all legit. We called (and were told someone would call us back) and emailed them about our 'bad' experience but nobody ever bothered to follow up.
